Couldn't find a thread about this game.

The biggest reason for me to get myself a Nintendo Switch was be able to play Zelda: Breath of the Wild. And wow.....what an experience it been this far. "Only" +/- 60 hours in and my guess is I'm not even close being 1/4 into the the game.

The world is huge with so much to do in so many different ways. Currently trying to level up my stamina and health, but that's not going very quickly atm.

Think this is one of the best games I ever played.

:giggle1: This happened to me a few times. Didn't know I had to unequip my metal weapons in thunderstorms.

It's easily one of the best games I've played.

It's a terrific game, no doubt, but ... there's so much wasted space. If you look at something like Skyrim - which is cited as an influence -there are so many quests, factions and NPCs to interact with. Hyrule might be a bigger, prettier world, but it's also rather empty.

I liked the emptiness it added to atmosphere of the baron world. I did enjoy Skyrim but I feel it's dated in comparison a lot of the quest aren't the interesting and the controls are pretty *.

I think that's what sets BOTW apart from everything else just ability to climb anything, blew my mind when I started playing it. Made games I loved like Skyrim and GTA 5 seem quite one dimensional and restrictive in comparison.

You need a good CPU tbh.....emulators run better on CPU than just high end GFX cards.

But i have a top end machine, runs flawless.

    What you running?

Its pretty old now. GTX 760, i5 4590 3.3GHz, 8Gb DDR3. Just put the OS on an SSD though and it's given it a new lease of life. Can finally get decent frames on Battlefield V on the lowest settings.

You might run it ok tbh....may as well try it out.

Any emulators from PS2 onwards require a better CPU over GPU.

A couple of years late to the party but i've just finished this, what a game, exploring the world was great, where in other open world games (Fallout in particular) i rarely enjoy exploring.

My only real complaints are some of the shrine quests are obnoxious, and the final boss is disappointing, he's far too easy, especially compared to his lesser forms in the divine beasts
