    Him and Sporar and i'd be happy enough with that, he was great for Brighton last year. Just him and i'd be pretty disappointed.

    We have to remember that any back up striker, short term or not, won't be played in the big games. His guy would be playing against the spfl lesser teams like Hamilton etc and I'm sure he would score against such teams

    I dunno.

    We do need someone more reliable than Friffiths and Bayo to provide competition/back-up to Edouard. No idea what his fitness levels are like, but Murray has been a consistent goalscorer at a good level for several years. He'd be a decent option, but it's a real short-term fix.

    I'd rather we got someone who could also offer us something in the long-term as well.

    On a loan it isn't too bad. Sometimes I feel we miss a guy who can just be punted upfield to or be in position to score a rebound.

    Just pay the money and get Sporar, I'd rather give Jack Aitchison a chance than sign Murray.

    Uninspiring, but I think he scores goals off the bench for us. Been a good player for Brighton in the Prem last few years.

    Lenny loves a 35+ year old ex Prem player, so could see something like this happening. Much rather Murray than Sharp.

    Can’t believe there’s folk that would be for this.

    If our reaction to a domestic challenge is signing a 36 year old who’s not scored a single goal in his league this season then we have bigger problems than most of us imagined.

    The signings in the summer showed a bit of intent to actually be creative, this type of suggestion/rumour is a return to the old decrepit model.

    I’m not suggesting older experienced players should never be signed but what we need is some proper quality up top as backup/challenge to our one and only proper striker.

    More concerned that it may actually have been/is a consideration.

    If so.... this shows a seriously worrying level of intent by the club in both quality and value of player they are looking at.
