Another year of pish poor writing on its way.

Where having being gifted a wealth of material they failed for years to mock the huns for * season after * season I wonder how quick they will be to mock us?

Not to mention all the non footy related Nicola Sturgeon Covid19 * that will no doubt feature.

I'll probably record it and watch it in the morning when nobody else is up to suffer it, it is far too cringingly bad to watch in company.

I wish the BBC would just commission everyone involved in Chewin the Fat and Rab C to come up with a full on footy (or at least sports) related 50min show once a year in its place.

Sure I read this would be the last one ever this year.

Reading that was more uplifting than watching Its a Wonderful life. Thank you Santa.

I actually thought it was decent last year and gave me a few giggles.

This year is an hour long and will have old clips on it too, actually looking forward to it. He is doing Jason Leitch who I hope he gets tore right into, narcissistic *.

I'll probably stick it on New Year's Day just to confirm it was worth missing the night before.

Hopefully Reeves and Mortimer have something on,they never disappoint.

It was funny in its infancy some 30 years ago (when on stage with Roper and Watson) and the original TV versions were equally witty and right to the point, but since the mid 00’s it’s been pretty poor fair with the odd funny bit.

The Sevconian with the glass eye and the “business man Sevconian “know what I’m sayin?” guy are very close to the mark, as is the softly spoken Tim.

McAvennie is way way past its sell by date and I can’t be bothered with the non football stuff.

Like U2, some of the early stuff was fantastic but they should have called it quits years ago.

    Thankfully it’s the last one...

Fair dos to them though... still basing a comedy around a parody of a randy footballer who’s not played for 25 years is some going!
