    This.

Holding out hope that they punt their best assets is embarrassing anyway. Surely we havent reached that stage.

If they were that desperate I believe a number if their players would be gone already.

In the past with them I'd agree but there are players there teams will have been looking at for a year or so now.

Any bids yet though? Because I’m not believing the Chinese ones and the so called £11 million allegedly knocked back a few days ago.

We need to stop thinking of their downfall stop thinking of them selling to stay afloat , our thoughts should be relish the challenge , challenge prevents stagnation , stop thinking of 9 or 10 as this is bringing pressure and fear of losing into our game , 1 game at a time should be our only thoughts ,and building a better side for europe .

    * or high water joe is right, we're not winning anything if we * it at the first sign of the boogeyman. We know we can pump them and most other teams even at our level when we catch a grip. They should be concerned cause they don't know the stamina needed after the break and we do

I don’t buy that they outplayed us on Sunday, we had more and better chances just never took them. What they done is outwork and outfought us 100%, made it a scrappy midfield battle that we struggle against. Had our team turned up for the fight it would of been different.

First game at Ibrokes showed how to play against them, use our width and pace as they play an offset 4231, creates the spaces in the middle for Christie and Eddy to exploit. Only difference last 2 games is they played Kent, 1st game we started without a striker and played with 10 men for 30 mins then 2nd game half the team were already in holiday mode like last season.

Agree with this. Alot of our support are blind to the fact that they are going to give us a serious challenge this season and come off with all sort of *! It doesn't matter if we have the best players in each department, it's who's up for it more and wants it who more who will win it. It happens in all sports. Talent isn't always enough! That result will be like a shot in the arm for there mindset because now, they will truly believe it's the year for them. Gerrard will have them day in day out believing in themselves and that is massive. On outside, all it takes is doubt to set in and we are *! All it takes is another bad result with them winning the game in hand, go to ibrox and lose and it's a whole different ball game all together. I hope Lenny sorts these * out because the last while we haven't been upto scratch. Come May thou, I do believe (hope aswell) that we will be champions but it ain't coming easy!

So how do you see it Leeso ?

    50/50?

    60/40 ?

    40/60 ?

    70/30 ?

    30/70 ?

A lot of * on here seem to think they aren't dropping any more points apart form against us ( which is really unlikely and a bit mental).

I would say the chances are probably 70/30 in our our favour but that is a * of a lot closer than it should be.

Not sure mate as I'm not privy. I'd imagine they will have had bids for Morelos though without doubt.

The last official bid was for £3 million that was from Gerrard and * face himself, no chance do I believe they had a bid of £11 million from an EPL club. They are trying to drum up interest just as they did with the belter of a bid for Kamara from Juventus. :giggle1:

they did outplay us though, we never turned up. We where * and it was the cup final all over again bar us scraping a win.

last season We had inner battles with the manager and Lawwell and our first choice forward out. This season there is no excuse bar the manager got it wrong and our players * shat it.

70/30? get your head out the sand mate. They will win their game in hand putting them top, have an easier run of fixtures followed by a trip to Mordor by us. What makes you think we are suddenly massive favourites? right now I’d say its 50:50. This will change subject to how our dealings in January go.

It wasn’t anything like the cup final, we had the better chances, Fraser made a couple of easy saves where as McGregor pulled off 2 great saves, poor penalty, 2 cleared off the line, plenty times we were in great positions and took wrong options.

A draw would of been a fair result. Their tactic was make it scrappy and pump it long to Morelos or wide and cross it, dive for everything and cheat for any advantage. That’s not being outplayed that’s us not standing up to the fight and implementing our game.

The game in hand won't be played until way down the line

    So...

We both win the first league games back, then at the weekend...

We beat Ross County at home and go 5 clear and they drop points at Tynecastle the next day. As you were

You can be sure they know exactly whats required to win the league.

Them not winning the league will be down to us winning our games (them included) and not them not knowing whats required to win the league.

The main conclusion drawn from most of the posts is they are playing better , only an idiot cant agree with that , they seemed to want it more displayed by their work ethic in the game , we had chances that we didnt take as they did in the lcf , the games are getting tighter between us , we normally struggle up to xmas and play better after the break, this will be a very important transfer window coming ,block out all the hype and crap from the media but recognise they are giving us a challenge , stay calm ,support the team and manager and match their hunger , the best titles are the ones you have to fight for .

Listen, it'll be tighter than it's been for a while and Rangers do deserve to be taken seriously, but I still have confidence that we'll win the League. There's a long way to go and a lot of games to be played, so although we need to wise up when we play them, there's no reason to panic just yet.

Ar Ibrox earlier in the season we looked like we had a real point to prove, and we put in a really controlled, confident and serious performance. We looked like we were on a mission to get 3 points and did it with no frills and no real fuss. We got our foot on the ball and played our way into the game, we competed really well in midfield, we defended crosses and ser pieces and we took our chances when they came and could gave got more.

In the last two games, we've lacked that intensity and focus.

These players have shown at Ibrox, in Europe and even at Hampden after the sending off that when they have a clear game-plan they have the discipline to stick to it, and the quality to carry it out. Sadly, we can't treat this Rangers team the same as Aberdeen, or Kilmarnock. They're more like Cluj to be honest. They're experienced, aggressive, well-organised and have good players. But we're better, and if we play anything close to our best, we beat them.
