Again I love the optimism, based on what though? If it’s based on a phenomenal transfer window then I agree but what’s the chances of that?

What matters is that our best players get rest before the next encounter with Rangers. An energized Forrest will turn up, and make Barišić not think about attacking.

As it stands would you take their team over ours?

That's not why we lost. Getting a rest won't change that.

The issue here is the wide men going missing. They flooded the centre of the pitch so we are reliant on Forrest, Johnstone, Boli and Frimpong to make the game for us and actually get us up the pitch.

Frimpong was decent but the rest were awful. Forrest, Johnstone and Boli cannot be trusted with that responsibility when we are in the trenches against them.

Obviously not. I’ll disregard the cup final performance as cup finals are unique games.

My concern is that the last twice they’ve come to our home in the league they’ve been by far the better side, once with 10 men for over an hour.

We still have to play them at Ibrox with 800 fans behind us which is a very hard venue to go to at the best of times.

We have the better players but they know how to get joy out of us as we are incredibly predictable at times.

They are good enough to wipe out the rest of the league as are we.

With all of that in mind I can’t understand how anyone can be so confident of obtaining more points than them in the second half of the season.

You predicted 4 nil the day and are predicting a min of 4 points from our next 2 against them based on our last 2 performances! Forgive me for thinking you watch more Colombo than football.

They always have an extra man in midfield why don’t we just match up when we next play against them?

In attacking areas our players are always surrounded by 3 of them aswell and we try and force it and lose it a good tactical manager would be able to sort this

Rodgers played 2 against 3 because he stretchd them out wide we don’t seem to have the same pace and dynamism out there now wingers always turning back instead of sprinting down the line and whipping balls in

Just not working with Lennon, not looking forward to these games anymore

Have to disagree. Several key players have played nearly non-stop for weeks or even months. I remember Christie getting a forced rest when he got sent off vs. Livingston. When he came back, he had several stormers in a row. I am positive a fully rested Edouard would have been sharper physically and mentally-today would end up different. Lennon is a decent manager, but he should pay attention to player freshness. A word with the medical team and coaches every so often can point him to who needs resting.

Our players are complacent. We have the better squad. Our europa results show that, our trophy haul shows that.

They need to get this * booted out their heads pronto as the only reason they are closer to us is because we * allow it
