    My old uncle used to buy me books at Xmas when I was a nipper. Got me this one year and i couldn't put it down. Still remember the first time I seen the movie. Just wat hed it too. Still great.

    Apocalypse Now was named. My #1 war movie ever and has some of the most amazing scenes ever recorded like the the fantastic helicopter attack scene or the I love the smell of napalm in the morning scene. Don't watch the redux version though....it dioesn't add much imo. Fantastic documentary of it too called Heart of Darkness.
