    With the amount of money we have in the bank and we signed him on loan don't think this signing would go down well .
    Think we should be bringing in someone who's going to be trying to be our number one forward as we don't know if Eddie will still be here after the summer .

    Has he ever played in the EPL?

    I could be wrong but year's ago team's trying to get promoted would always sign him....then when they got up....they'd all sell him back to the championship :giggle1:

    Painfully slow. Has a terrible touch. Even in his prime and he's declined badly since..

    When was his last national call up in a side with zero strikers?

    Would be a chronic signing..

    We need a quality striker in with a view of replacing Eddy. A loan to buy like Eddy would suit fine. Then we could even get someone low risk cost like a Nisbett in from Dunfermline as back up back up that could do a job instead of paying decent wages to someone like Rhodes..

    Ideally after a quality signing to compete with Eddy....we'll sign a Hammond special with a top young prospect striker coming in who is ready to go instead of a Nisbett (who was just an example of a rather than Rhodes)..

    As sad as it is to write, we should be forward planning and looking for Eddy’s replacement. Similar to how it worked with Eddy and Dembele so that we have someone ready-made to start playing.

    If it’s a true story ... then the worry isn’t so much that they might actually get him ... but more that that this is the sort of marketplace they are shopping in for a player to back up for Edouard.

    Like putting your Merc AMG in for a service and getting a getting given a 10 year old beat up Sierra as a courtesy car.

    Tbh I wouldn’t mind going for Sam Cosgrove. Just turned 23 and now becoming a player. Would give a big physical presence when needed

    Wouldn't be the worst loan signing. Guy has a proven track record of scoring goals and would give us some depth in the league.
