It's only hard on a microscopic level, on a macro there's only 3 points between us and our Invincible season at this stage I think. We have to keep remembering the positives, our after half time displays are probably the best in the league I don't have the stats but we do normally come out fired up in control.

The same * that struggled at home today, serious question who are we playing on Sunday? Because last time I checked it wasn’t * Barcelona.

Three points in the bag . And all at a time when we've had a glut of fixtures . Another win on Sunday , and we can enjoy sitting pretty at the top of the pile with clear daylight back to the chasing pack . That would be ideal psychologically for us during the winter break .

Jamesy scored a good goal off the left today.

Last 4 games he’s played on the left, he’s set up 3 goals and scored one.

Ryan Christie in his last 5 games from RM - 4 goals, 3 assists.

    Stats are from Transfermarkt.

I think they’re doing quite good, filling in through injuries but it’s keeping the squad dynamic, I hate it when we get predictable, teams cotton on to it and the games get really boring. Being able to change positions and still play to a high level is a major bonus.

During a St Mirren breakaway he was tangling with that big lad at the halfway line and swung an arm around, his hand caught the boy but * all really in it

You're right but it's true they are better placed, if Lenny can mix it up so much and still have us winning then that bodes well for when all our first choices are ready. Ah * the bode, as long as he's in the manager's chair we're doing our best.

Honestly, if they were new players we’d just brought in posting stats like that we’d all be * delighted with them.

I’d rather get Christie back in the middle though but pretending he isn’t doing well out on the right is just factually wrong

I think that it’s not ideal and no one would argue they’re better being shoehorned in to other positions but I’ve yet to hear or see an alternative I’d prefer us using with no fully fit and in form left winger.

Sorry, I edited that after you quoted. The sentiment remains the same though and it's right we can over react sometimes but we have to remember this is a historic time we're going through so there are pressures never experienced on and off the pitch. Clear minded we'd see it for what it is, we're by far the best team and it's very out of character for us to perform like that. Is it possible the players' minds were a bit too relaxed after Christmas and after 2 up thinking about Sunday? It's plausible

Well, technically, if we finish the season on the same number of points as the nearest challenger but have scored more goals and/or conceded less then we will so win the league on goal difference. If we finish the season on the same number of points as the nearest challenger but have scored less goals and/or concede more, then you are right we will not win the league on goal difference.

playing players out of position for no reason at all is madness .having a settled side would be far more beneficial to us .Forrest plays far better on the right and Christie in the middle there is no sense in moving two players out of their natural positions to shoehorn ntcham into the side. Why doesn't he stick ntcham at lw and play one out of position rather than two

You really believe Lenny does things for no reason at all? You have to create some kind of balance if any criticism is going to get respect

Interestingly Forest has played well on the left. He's had three or four assists and a goal over the last 5 games, if I remember correctly. Nonetheless, I prefer him on the right with Christie as a 10.
