Everyone is getting a rest after the weekend. It needs to be all hands to the pump until then.

My thoughts exactly. Hasn't done enough to merit a start. I'd really fear for us if he starts against the huns. He plays at his own slow tempo and in a high tempo game like it will be against the huns he finds it hard to get involved.

Yep but he's shown before he can play against them, his strength on the ball is tremendous

But if picked he needs a game noir that lackluster * he plays like at times

    Spot on.

Towards the early part of the season he had a few great cameos. Recently he’s had a fair amount of game time and been his sort of usual self - a few moments of genius, and a few infuriating ones as well.

By no means should be starting against the huns.

Good post and I tend to agree. He's being brilliant against them but invisible just as much. I'm pleased his attitude seems to have improved but for me you've stated the answer. Which is, unless we really have to, we don't try and shoehorn him in at the expense of other players moving position. We seem to lose more than we gain when we do that.

Should 100% be starting against the manks in Paradise. Particularly with Moi out.

People seem to be forgetting that he's being shoehorned in out of position as well, he's not a number 10. I don't know why lennon doesn't just rotate the 3 CMs if he wants them all to get game time there's no need for them all to play every game at the expense of our best formation.

I thought he was one of our better performers in the first half .

Definitely his best position for me, he’s a bit too lackadaisical further back.

    Wouldn’t start him on Sunday.

I’d prefer we played Johnston left, Forrest right and Christie central.

100%. He still thinks he is so much better than he is. Gave away the ball for absolutely no reason playing square balls today. It's not the first time he has done it this season either.

Slack as * again today, albeit wasn’t the only one.

Our strongest team doesn’t include him in the starting XI, right now.

I was all for trying to find a way to get him in the team but if it means playing players out of position especially christie and sacrificing our fluidity then atleast on sunday I'd rather go back to our tried and tested 4231 without nitcham, besides hes always done well coming of the bench against them.

Wasn't bad but when they started rattling us second half...it was like he almost went missing..

Ntcham would be a certain starter in most of our teams in the last decade, he just doesn't fit in the current team when everyone's fit. Hopefully lenny sees sense and starts with mikey on the left and forrest on the right with Christie in the attacking centre role. Ntcham a good player to bring off the bench if we need to change it up

I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't get it about him.

Would sell him without a seconds thought, not even great at the basics.
