Even if he was fully fit we’d still need better to challenge Edouard.

The fact he can’t even make the bench while Lewis Morgan starts says it all.

Need to find a striker in January badly.

Think we don’t fully know what going on with Griff (or at least I don’t). Not sure it’s our business either. Regardless of Griff, I think Eddy will continue to draw interest, so we need a quality striker to come in this January anyway.

The bonus will be if Griff gets fits and regularly stays that way. That’s what I’m hoping for! Wishing the wee man well.

Is he injured or what I find it hard to believe anyone can rate Morgan as a better option

I think it's just a case of Lenny feeding him back in slowly and protecting him, plenty games coming up he'll play in, keep the faith.

Absolutely - I'm sure everyone wishes Griff all the best but the truth is that, at this point, he is not a reliable replacement for Eddy and Bayo is an unknown quantity.

In all honesty, we were pretty poor yesterday but you could see the difference even a half fit Eddy made (not just goals but leading the line and physicality). While we have players in all positions who can score - if Eddy was injured for a few games - it could cost us.

It is inevitable IMO (given Eddy's tally for France Under 21s as well as us) that other clubs will be interested come the end of the season.

I think it's a no brainer that we need to bring in a striker (not on loan) in Jan. It might be preferable to get a striker in his late 20s with a decent record and experience who (apart from scoring goals) would be someone for Bayo and Eddy to learn from.

leigh has been a great player for us in his time but maybe its time for him to go to pastures new get his football going again, it doesnt look like hes gonna be part of us going forward now and we need a striker and a very good one because eduard is so good its gonna be hard to keep hold of him after the summer

We didn't need two forwards on the bench yesterday and maybe just that .

I know he wasn't on the bench, I was asking if he was actually at Hampden, if not, why?

Might be insignificant but when it cut to our celebrations in the changing room. Griffiths had an allocated locker with his boots etc under it. Made me think he was told he wasn't in the squad late on (Eddy leaving his decision very late) and he'd taken the huff. Yes, I'm aware I might be talking * but there you go.

Bizarre that he wasn't even on the bench. I fear for his future here - hope I'm wrong.

Definitely something not right with it all. Hopefully get's a start in the next few weeks and shows he's ready to fight for a place.

I was hopeful that if he got back before the break getting a striker wouldn't be an absolutely priority and you could argue for another one too. However, there's a few jumping to conclusions in here I think without knowing the full story here. It does seem 1 step forward and 2 back at the moment. I really hope this is not the end as back on form he'd be huge for us.

Also, January is fast becoming as important as the summer window for us as we've saying since the rush at the end of the summer. Getting biz done now though is hard!!
