Citizen Smith was a Brit sitcom about "an urban revolutionary" whose catchphrase was "Freedom for Tooting". His nom de guerre was "wolfie" but his prospective mother-in-law (nice but scatter brained) kept calling him "foxy".

I think his mother in law was the actress who played nana Moon in East Enders.

The wee fella has worked out that he doesn't have to wait for the apples to fall. Who knew? :56: I included one of our resident blackbird pair side by side in the apple tree. Plenty of other wee visitors today but pictures are shocking. I'm too nervous about tomorrow.

Thank you, BFL. That's the wee pair that have been about the garden for a long time. They are a wee team.

Thanks, Cider. Finding it difficult to concentrate on garden today. Wish tomorrow was over and League Cup back at Paradise.

Saw bullfinches, robins, dove and blackbirds in the garden today. At one stage, there were 8 goldfinches on the feeders but couldn't muster the strength to take a picture...nerves shredded to pieces but what a day, fellow fenians, what a day. :yeah:

Last night I saw a couple of huns fighting over the mistaken belief they are simply the best.
