Pesci was class. He was a quite nasty * in this who didnt raise his voice, was quite chilling to watch, instead of the loud little nasty * from casino n goodfellas.Thought the chemistry was good from all the characters.Rwally enjoyed the stuff at the end espicially the exchanges between sheeran n hoffa. Some good set pieces and a good story.

This film really reminded me of the godfather or once upon a time.

Everyone seems to be in awe of the performances and the sentimentality of the creation, more than the actual story or the film scene by scene which is in actual fact pretty uninteresting. Kills me as I grew up with these fellas and there's not enough story there to work with. Script is very poor.

Overall a good movie but I thought it started slowly, picked up in the middle but didn’t like the last half hour.
    Best bits were with Pacino.

It was decent enough but far too long. Joe Pesci is a great wee actor.

Good to see Stephen Graham having a decent role in it. Good actor.

It’s a * great story, in fact I’d say it’s easily more interesting than the likes of Goodfellas (my favourite film) or Casino. I’ve read the books that all were based on and I heard you paint houses is easily the best.

The only legitimate criticism of the film in my eyes is the age (or lack of energy) of the actors and I see that as trivial as I thought they did a fine job. Pacino in particular was outstanding.

Story was interesting and Pesci, Pacino and De Niro were all fantastic.

The CGI ruined the movie for me though. I just couldn't tell what age they were supposed to be, from when Pesci calls him "kid" at the start to the end. When he beats up the shopkeeper he's clearly supposed to be in his mid 30s, but it still looks like a 70 year old man movement and looks wise. The whole movie he talks like an old man too.

A real shame. Worth a watch but not for those who don't appreciate Scorcese dialogue.

I really enjoyed it. It is a bit long, but the performances were great, as was the dialogue. I felt the story was gripping enough to keep me interested. The CGI or age of the actors didn’t bother me.

Half way through it and loving it.
Yeah it is long, but there is plenty of stuff happening and the stories are moving forward to keep you going.

Some folk who are used to the formulated 2hr superhero movies (yeah I'm going there), won't enjoy it, but anyone who appreciates this genre, specifically Scorsese films, will certainly enjoy it.
The aging cgi is the only gripe - and bigger wise not using it and using different actors may have worked better - but it's a minor gripe. Because we know the actors soo well, it makes it a little weird to see them trying to be in their 30s, but let that go and just enjoy the film and it is pretty * good.

Won't beat Goodefellas as my favourite film, nor will it likely make my top ten, but it is a good film and worth being in any gangster collection with a few watches of it.

Watched it this weekend. Don't want to be over critical as they were all great actors but safe to say I would never watch it again, once was enough.

    End of an Era.

    Finally seen this...great movie.

First hour was a tough watch though, slow and not much happened, too much showing the campaign trail and too slow to introduce the full cast.......But after this is picks up pace and turns into the movie we have been waiting for for years.

    Acting was phenomenal from all.
Pacino was outstanding, way better than i thought he would be,DeNiro does what he does best and more, considering all the * he has been putting out for years it goes to show that you cant take him away from what he was born to play.Pesci absolute killed it,even moreso at the end as the old timer in the nursing home/jail....looks as if hes never been away from the screen.

Supporting actors blew it out the ball park as well....Im a big fan of Stephen Graham he was brilliant in this, menacing and looks like he will be the new Pesci for me....Ray Romano did really well as did Keitel.....shout out to the guy that played Fat Tony Salerno, enjoyed his part.

The movie is not a masterpiece but a great watch, isnt like Goodfellas or Carlitos Way/Donnie Brasco....more like Godfather,Once upon a time in America....Slow paced but the actors keep you gripped.

The CGI isnt as bad as some people say,so dont go looking for faults, yes the movement at times looks a little off but the CGI for the aging is brilliant tbh, especially in the last 20 mins.

Im a big fan of Mob movies and Stories and i was expecting a little more...Hoping for a 5 Families movie as some point, but this movie does shine and its like a big Swan Song for the Best actors to grace the movie screen. Feel kinda sad to see all this end,i honestly cant see them together again but will cherrish the time they all had and to grace our screens with such great presence.

    Pacino....DeNiro....Pesci.....take a bow.

Regarding the Oscar...I still hope Phoenix gets it for Joker, but if hes gonna be beaten then its by a legend.

    Easter Eggs?

**Anyone catch the rain in the window of the car wash with Deniro at the end?.....The rain made him look exactly like Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver......Also loved Deniro's last words in this movie to be "Close the door...JUST A LITTLE BIT".....Goodfellas line **
