Was never going to be a guilty verdict, would open up to many people to scrutiny, including the Tory government of the time if a guilty verdict had came in.
Not so much as the cause of the tragedy but the systematic and systemic lies that came after.

There might never be peace, but I believe they have justice already.

As I understand it, the JFT96 movement/group was set up as a direct response to the initial inquest which in 1991 returned a verdict of accidental death.

Unless I've misunderstood their aims, the second coroner's hearing quashed those verdicts, and in 2016 the new inquest returned a verdict of unlawful killing in respect of all 96 victims. This gave the "justice" sort in 1991 when the group was established.
