    Right guys-

Looking for someone with a bit of London underground knowledge if there's anyone about.

16yo old daughter is flying into Heathrow tomorrow morning to go to an open day at RAM on Marylebone Road with 2 pals. Of course, she thinks she'll just saunter in and out of town on the same day and it'll be a doddle. It may well be that but i just want to give her a heads up of connections.

Apparently they're getting underground at or very near to Heathrow.

So to me looks like tube into Piccadily Circus and then change onto Bakerloo and get to Regents Park which is closest to this place. Sound ok??

I looked at Heathrow express for them but that seems way pricier than the tube. Maybe the kids know best

    cheers.

Along with what Idioteque said, download the Tube app, it lets you plan your journey and tells you where to get off and where to change.

Can also get the Piccadilly in to Hammersmith, change and then jump the Hammersmith and city or circle line in to Baker street which is just round the corner..

cheers bud. Was gonna get the Gatwick version the last time but got some day pass on Southern that i think was less than half the price for all day (off peak) including tube. Cousin however lives in Henfield near Gatwick and he dropped us off there in morning. This time she's on her own.:67:

Nice part of the world. It doesn't get more English than that according to him. He's one of the few token Scots there. He loves it. Massive massive Tim and was actually down as a ball boy before he got dragged down there as a kid in the 80's.

Random fact- his great grandfather played for us and i believe he still donates a couple of things to the museum. He certainly did anyway.

Heathrow express is extremely fast but effin’ expensive..

    £30 one way..

went into autopilot recently after 18 hours of flights and got on it - my prepaid ticket was for kings cross and hadn’t checked.

The guard was pretty cool and just let me off with it - so bonus in the end.

The apps are the best way of working out a route ... quickest, least changes, via xxxx etc.
