    Made this point to one of my pals who said he was fearing a tanking when they scored in both legs.

    I think we became conditioned to that with the amount of times the * fell out of us after conceding under Rodgers.

    Under Lennon we are a totally different team, we dug in, stayed calm and composed and worked our way back into the game. We are a joy to watch at the moment.

    The wee man is proving many wrong.

    Aside from the hammerings in the CL, I never actually begrudge us losing at the top level. What is difficult though, and a stark contrast from the current team, is that with Rodgers we appeared to be resigned to defeat before stepping on the pitch at times in Europe.

    He could talk about financial disparities all he like, but ultimately, the whistles gonna go and it will be 11 vs 11, and you simply have to get the players up for it, regardless of what you're up against.

    One of the big differences from the home game that I noticed between a lennon side and Rodgers side is that in the past when lazio were 1-0 up and having chances we’d have waved the white flag and took a 2 or 3-0 loss but we hung in and won under lennon and done the same tonight

    They simply must back him now and give him the tools to make these games a little bit easier for the players manager and fans .

    Bear in mind this team is still relatively new in playing with each other. The goal was a bit poor to lose, no way should a striker of Immobile's ilk be unmarked in our box but overall we are in a great place and will only improve going forward.

    The confidence from this win will help us believe in ourselves a little more , but it would be nice to get the first goal then a 2nd on the counter and be confident enough to play , pass and toy with a team from the big nations , we can dream ehh
