Done alright, not massively in the game but any time he was on the ball he used it well. Took down a good 6/7 long balls from Jullien/Brown and kept possession. Good movement around the box and tried to make runs in and around that area although only really got a pass once when he got in and could have or did get a shot blocked.

Defensively he looked decent, barely had anything to do but did make a couple of slide tackles. I also liked how he defended the only real time they attacked him, he stuck with his guy well then when the ball moved he ran over to mark another guy which looked clever defending to me just how quick he reacted and was wise to another guy moving in behind him.

Forgot also but in the first half they played a long ball into his area where they had a big guy waiting on it and Taylor leaped above him to win the header, I was surprised how high he jumped to beat the guy who was much bigger than him and already in position.

I was impressed with him, never pulled out of a challenge and went flying into some tackles and headers, he's definitely better at defending than Boli he reads the game well and positionally switched on. Was good going forward as well, got a bit of pace and quick feet plus a few decent crosses in the box. He's the perfect kind of player for tough away games were you need players that love a battle, great option to have.

He looked good to me tonight if a little less than match sharp so more to come I hope. He gets the ball across the box with some regularity. Good first impression.

Hope he gets some more game time. Didnt see him last night but by the sounds of it he did quite well, you have to remember he hasn't really played for two months and would be frustrated with not getting a look in for a while and mentally that can really play on confidence. Hopefully more game time brings out the best in him and makes him more confident to play at a bigger level.

Overall, impressive debut, should kick on with more game time hopefully.
No reason why he cannot share the No 3 jersey with Boli.

Great that we have options now at left and right back. Where elhamed and Taylor (when up to speed) are better defensively boli and frimpong run all day and offer a lot in attack. Then we have lee O'Connor who is a talent and will get his opportunity ..

Better and less risky than Bolingoli, hope he keeps his place.

Great to hear he made a positive start and impressed. Credit to him given he's managed to do that on the first game.

Good debut , put two fantastics crosses in , think boli creates more space for the attachers out wide by drifting inside , taylor stuck to the byline which kept there left mid and lb there making it a bit congested , same with bauer he never really drifts from the by line were as frimpong cuts inside leaving space for forrest , think this is what made st mirren look a bit more solid

St Mirren are a bit more solid than the rest of the league, they don’t concede a lot of goals. Don’t score a lot either.

Positive debut I thought, good pace, good on the ball and strong defensively when he had to be. Got up and down well and put some good deliveries in until he understandably tired a bit later on.There will be tougher tests than St Mirren but looks a good option to have.

Just cant see him starting against the spoon burners. But would be good option to bring on after 65 min, as I reckon Boli runs out of gas after the hour mark.

Thought he was outstanding, looked absolutely * after about 70 minutes though, I thought he should have been subbed earlier.

As others have said, good to have options.

The cynic in me thinks he only got a game against St Mirren so we had a pic to use for his birthday.

I would start him in Rome, with Boli struggling.
He played over an hour a week ago, so should have had adequate rest.

I'd play him too and rest Boli, but if Boli doesn't start, it'll more than likely be Hayes who starts there.

Just don't reckon Hayes can react like a natural defender, especially against quality opposition.
I would have no issue with Hayes at L/B against the dross.
In fact, said it before, we don't need specialized full backs against most SPL sides. Especially the Brown sits in front of the defense.

If it's between Taylor or Hayes on Thursday, then it has to be Taylor.
