lazio nullified mo and forrest and edouard found it tough also but i reckon a lot of that is because the other 2 were struggling which meant eddie didnt get as much as the ball

against the big money sides i dont think we can play what normally works domestically they are too good for that

they had studied us well and there plan to stop our forward line worked very well they certainly frustrated mo and forrest as they found it so tough

remember martin oneils sides playing in europe ? there was a more studied approach to these games and more focus on moving the opposition about to create space we did have a lot of experience in that side compared to the youthful side we have now though

by the way brown was a colossus last night thought he was absolutely outstanding and his best game of the season by far

Starting to see real quality out him now, that turn enabing Forrest to score and then chesting that down. 19 players out of 20 hit a shot and stick the head on that cross with no chance of scoring either attempt. Real mark of quaity and composure to take balls under control in the box and stay calm.

You can clearly see that, despite being slack at times due to a lack of game time, he is a quality player.

Certainly a talented boy but can’t help but think that he’s been a bit erratic. Showed some nice touches today and his movement was especially good at the goal. However, on Thursday night he had acres of space out on the left but was largely wasteful when he was in the final third. It seemed like he actually lost the ball a lot. Think that game would’ve actually suited Sinclair down to the ground with all the space to run into.

Will be interesting to see how we set up and how he copes in Rome when we are going to be in our own half for longer periods.

That is a major upgrade on Sinclair-puts a shift in. Would be in favor of giving Sinclair a run against St Mirren, still reckon we should try Mo in that No 10 position.
