Getting beat 9-0 and they’ve loaned us Forster and Elyounoussi.

Huns must be delighted they’ve just appointed the DOF who made those decisions...

If that's Celtic it's how * the league is if that's an English team it's how great they are.

Some of the scores are getting fkn embarrassing down there.

All I hear on radio and TV is how competitive their league is unlike all thr other leagues, well I don't see it myself.

    Another VAR mistake.

De Bruyne "scored" the 2nd for Man City but Silva claimed he touched it and it was his but if he touched it then it would have been offside. VAR looked and said Silva never touched it and it was a goal for De Bruyne but now they have just announced the goal is to be credited to Silva which means it was offside and shouldn't have counted.

VAR is starting tae get a bit silly now, games are being ruined by poor decisions, the EPL are making a right * of it.

VAR in itself, I feel is a very useful tool.

What we're seeing (particularly in England the now) is the utter incompetence of the * that are using this tool - taking time out to look at incidents on a TV monitor and yet they STILL cannot come up with the correct call.

It's the referees/officials that are using VAR who need to be scrutinized, not the VAR itself.

VAR is fine for "did it cross the line etc" for decisions like "was their enough contact for a penalty", "was it deliberate handball" , "was it a dive" though it has to rely on officials and they will look at it time and time again ruining the game. VAR itself cannot make the majority of decisions as they are open to interpretation.

Hence why I said it was the HUMAN officials who need to be looked at.

Perhaps they should have a limit on the amount of times a VAR call can be asked for, ala the way they do it in Tennis where each player is allowed to make (I think) 3 line calls.

VAR has been working everywhere bar in England where they've tried to put their own wee spin on it.

Naw. I've seen some ridiculous decisions in Germany,France, The Netherlands and Portugal. In Germany there was a game where they brought the teams back on during half-time to give a pen .:56:

I also saw a game last week where they spent 4 mins reviewing a decision then added on three minutes injury time at the end of the half. Folk would be going mental on here if that happened in a game where we dropped points.

    German VAR.

I guess on one side it is the rules. On the other side the VAR assistant was nitpicking.

Clearly the ball was going out. The camera angle doesn't help, but the ball must have been 1" from going fully out.

It's time like that you would love to see the pen taker purposefully miss it.
But then, are you really gonna give that chance up if it's the winning goal?

It reminds me of Tom boyd years ago, got fouled ( I want to say in a Hun game) and as he fell forward he grabbed the ball at the same time to take a quick free kick. It was a foul, but the ref hadn't quite blown for it, so it got quickly awarded as a handball.

Probably more to it, I was younger back then.

Which actually this came back to me on Thursday night as well, think it was elhamed who done similar when the ball was going out for a throwin, it looked like he had picked the ball up on the line/before it fully went out.
Nothing was noted on the night, but would be interesting to see it again.

Kane comes across a bit there like he has had enough of Spurs imo.

Anyone see Xhaka? Offering a square go and cupping his ears to the emirates as he’s subbed off and home fans are booing him. Whipped his shirt off as soon as he crossed the line and went up the tunnel lol

For those who are in love.....
    He's their captain as well..

That's like us drawing 2 each at home to St Johnstone and Broony being subbed off for an attacker, looking for the winner....then him just strolling off and giving it to the fan's cupping his ears..

Would never happen. Xhaka is * as well and always fouling or trying a 40 yarder..

I'd want any Celtic player out who acted like that..

Tbh the Arsenal fans have been abusing that guy for a while, don't like it myself regardless of what he's doing, no wonder the guy lost the plot.

Hope KT is enjoying himself at that basket case of a club.

Lacazette liking a Emery out post too, lol.
