Bit harsh putting Cowdenbeath in the same bracket as Lazio.

And to give our defensive bhoys a shout out: I'd like to tap **Elhamed**, Jullien, and Bolingoli to personally shame them. If Bitton gets subbed on for any reason in this role, I hope he's also he's able to put their game to rest. Pieces of f'n *.

Will be a massive test of our back line in particular. They are very dangerous and Immobile is a genuinely top striker. So Ajer and Julian will need to be at their best. But we are playing well and dangerous ourselves so one to look forward to without a doubt. Given how good both teams look going forward cannot see this being a 0-0 game or anything like that.

On another note given the disgusting fascist leanings of Lazio I thought it the height of irony that their team name is usually written as SS Lazio.

From the little a have seen of them, their forwards seem to get awarded quite a few penalties, any tackles even slightly mistimed and they will be pressing the ref for fouls/pens.

Clearly dangerous up top, but have holes in their defence, can see Christie getting success through the centre, with Eddie harassing the back 2, can see it being a belter

Normally, I catch a cheeky stream, but for this one, think I'll get off backside, go to the pub and quaff a few naughty brown fizzy waters...cos this is a glamour tie! Just watch out for the diving peeps! 2-1 us!

Stating the obvious, but a win here should set us up nicely for winning the group.

Be tough, but I'm going for 2-1

    Mon The Celts!

A win would be huge but truthfully a draw wouldn't be all that damaging in respect of qualification.

As long as we leave it all on the park, no regrets about defensive errors or missing chances.

We need to come through it unscathed with Pittodrie on Sunday.

Don't worry about being too politicized. Politics is only a minor aspect of this club, and many others. Lazio is first and foremost the club of Roman commuters and inhabitants of the province called "Lazio". While AS Roma is rather the club of the inhabitants of the city of Rome itself.

Next 2 games are massive- a good performance on Thursday and any win which we are more than capable remembering cluj came back from a goal to beat this mob

Few Thursday s ago we were clinical beating cluj- Huns were raging about Tavernier and their performance in Switzerland starting to get back on gerrards back- us losing to Livingston and them winning 5-0 against Hamilton to go top of the league- papered over the cracks and they were the best thing since sliced breed for 2 weeks over the international break calling themselves champions elect

We’ve quickly got them back on the ropes- same things from a few weeks ago- we need to keep them there- we get 3 points at pittodrrie- our next 3 league games are at home v St mirren- Motherwell and Livingston- so their next 3 will be away

We won’t drop at home but they certainly will away

A statement on their (Lazio) website read: "Scottish law punishes any act of violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance, especially during sporting events.”

    What it should read is

Scottish law punishes any act of violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance, especially during sporting events, unless you are singing about being upto your knees in finean blood.

Will be interesting to see how Lazio line up on Thursday. They have a big match on Sunday against Fiorentina and might want to rest one or two for that match as they can't lose any more ground in the league. Would obviously like Immobile to sit out this one.

The crowd atmosphere, plus Odsonne Edouard and his mates on their A game, should secure 3 points : going for 2 - 0.....also scum will get a sore lesson by Porto as they will get scudded 3-0/1

We don’t have a great record against Italian opposition, but I’m hoping Lazio rest a good chunk of their squad tomorrow. We really need a strong ref as they will try every dirty trick in the book.

Going for 1-1, their goal coming from a penalty.
