Aye, they always say clear and ovbvious, I don't know how the Ref never gave the foul right away as it was but all it would take is a single replay to see it's a foul.

Last season it seems there was loads of VAR decisions and everything was being given penalties, reds, fouls, now they only rule out offside goals.

The “clear and obvious” mistake stuff just flies in the face of VAR.

Surely if it’s a foul, it’s a foul? Doesn’t matter how close it was or that the ref could be forgiven for missing it. It just makes no sense whatsoever.

Aye i know it's new over here but * me....it's been terribly applied since they introduced it in the fa cup was it first?

I'm no an advocate of it anyway but I honestly think the decisions are atrocious with it. Seen Everton yesterday and they disallowed a goal for nothing. No foul. Nothing. If anything the Everton player was fouled for a penalty. Nope. They ruled the goal out and gave nothing..

Seen loads like this. Apparently the Watford non penalty was as bad as it get's yesterday..

Liverpool have been rotten so far but that's a terrible bit of a refereeing.

    Exactly..

I don't like it but that handball was clocked and done inside a minute. That's how it should work. Var has overturned it correctly..

How can they see what we've all seen for the United goal and that it was a clear foul in the build up...yet allow it?

It's torture how badly they're making a mess of it..

Liverpool have been shocking. VAR is brutal also.

Aye, there's been probably 30 decisions already this season just in the English League where penalties should or should not have been given or red cards that have all been called wrong.

As soon as that foul happened then he played the boy in down the wing, I was thinking if he crosses this and they score it's going to be disallowed for that foul before I even seen a replay. Soon as I seen the replay I thought foul, disallowed. They looked at it about 15 times for over a minute and never seen a foul :97:

The worst part is they have changed the rules seemingly. Last season anyone touching anyone was a foul or penalty, any ball touching a hand in the box was a penalty but now it's all 50/50 some they give, some they don't but theres no explanation.

They've shat theirselves, usually they play high tempo with ful-backs getting forward and plenty of movement.

Here they are sitting back, passing it in circles then attempting long balls, have changed their style of play and struggled to get forward.

Both VAR decisions were correct. Minimal contact on Origi who went down like a floppy fish, and the ball hit Mané’s hand.

I don't know if goals back it up but they've looked weaker at the back this season. Napoli away, Chelsea and Southampton away where they should've dropped points in both. Leicester they should've dropped points..

Think Liverpool should take Origi off, touch is too clumsy and slowing down their play.

Wouldn't be kicking the ball out for that anyway. If you can't take coming off worst in a hefty challenge then take up another sport FS.
Aye he's been involved in a few diving incidents already this season. Milking it and staying down is doing my head in, calling it "streetwise" on commentary as well.

Tbf I am pretty sure that was just "streetwise commentary" and they were both calling him a cheating *.

Matips had a shocker, his passing would have embarrassed Boyata.
