Not a major eater of cakes, just get the odd slice of birthday or other celebration cake, so basically sponge with icing. Remember having a lemon drizzle cake few years ago which was really nice.

I enjoy my yearly costco cake binge. Pure icing and no cake :56: tastes better as the week goes on and the mushy top turns crusty. Mmmmm

I'd take cake over death, but generally can take it or leave it. Not got such a craving for sweet things.

Your profile pic coupled with that crockery gave me the fear there mate. Made me shudder.:56:Almost as if the old witch is trying to entice me in with a slice of battenburg. I'm not that cheap Liz!!

Ps- I do have a fairly vivid imagination!!:fear:

Pps- wife is a great baker and we're spoilt in this house. No shop bought here. She made Turkish delight and pistachio rocky road and also biscoff spread rocky road yesterday.

HAhaha sorry about the scarey thoughts with Brenda (LIZ) I've called her Brenda for over 20 years long before i'd even heard of the Rat.

Awesome yer missus is a good baker, ye can't beat that, my ex once made me some marzipan balls in dark chocolate, they were great, but yeah the old battenberg is hard to beat for me.... man reading that back that sounds like some kinda mad * pun :fear:

Is it okay to stick something very private in a bowl of jelly when nobody is around?
