He needs to make his debut even if its from the bench. We've spent £2m on him and we need to get some game time in his legs. If Bolingoli was to get injured we can't afford to have a replacement who severely lacks match practice.

Ross County would be ideal for a debut, it's time.

 

100% should start at the weekend, if he doesn't then he isn't getting his debut at pittodrie.

 

I agree. We've got 7 games over the space of 22 days from Saturday and we need to utilise the squad.

These games are huge in the context of our season. Double header v Lazio could be pivotal in qualification, Hibs LC Semi-Final and 4 league games including away to Pittodrie to get things back on track and reclaim top spot.

 

I'd probably start him just purely to get him in in a fairly straight forward home game (on paper)..

The only thing is, game's like County at home....Boli probably gives us much more going forward. They'll be camped in and Boli will no doubt get plenty of joy being involved in goals..

 

If Boli starts then I'd try get Taylor half an hour or so if we're comfortably in the lead.

Given the last 2 league results, I don't think Lennon will want to take any chances with this.

Not a big fan of changing things up just for the sake of it, especially when we’re being forced into changes and we’re still trying to get a back 4 to gel.

 

Wouldn’t be for the sake of it, it’s about having another option at LB.. we’ve bled in three different RBs..

It’s time to get our £2m investment up to speed.

 

We’ve not ‘bled in’ 3 different right backs, we’ve been forced to with injuries. Despise chopping and changing a back 4, get them right settled in and knowing each others games.

I doubt we’ve managed to play what you’d call our first choice back four 2/3 games in a row this season.

 

We’ve played Frimpong and have had to play Bauer because Elhamed has been playing with a hairline fracture but he could have played.. we have 3 new RBs and played them all when at least two have been fit, so don’t know what else you’d call it, we have bled them in..

Bolingoli has done well, but it’s strange Taylor hasn’t even made his debut yet.. two fully firing LBs gives us more depth and options. He should have been bled in by now.

 

The RB’s have been picking up knocks, Elhamed got a knock on International duty and today was protecting him. We’ve not really had the chance to inbetween him being injured at first, Internationals and needing to actually bed our first choice left back in to the defence.

 

And what if our first choice LB gets injured?

Also it can’t be doing Taylor’s confidence any good, he was absolutely buzzing when he signed. Could at least give him 20mins to get his debut under his belt. Especially when we were cruising like today.

 

Then Taylor comes in. What’s the difference between him coming in if Boli was injured today or him coming in with Boli fit today?

I’d rather have our first choice up to speed for Europe rather than him coming in after 2 and a half weeks of no football.
