I always pick Town. Hate playing as scum.

 

I've not played enough with Minty to know if he's at it but it does seem very odd to pick a basically powerless role over one of the most powerful in the game.

 

No guarantees that this is correct, but Fruit Vendor over SK doesn't sound plausible enough to me.

The argument for voting for me is weak and you all know it.

 

I don't think it's very strong but in the absence of anything else it's the only thing to go on at present.

I prefer a Town role over scum (only ever once had to choose between the 2 and I picked town) but even I would pick SK given your options.

 

I don’t think it is. Two or three are coasting so far. I’d rather lynch one of them. They might be keeping quiet as scum, or just not contributing, which only benefits scum.

There's a few who haven't posted/contributed at all. I said we should give them until this evening to post and if not they should come under scrutiny.

 

Won’t rush my vote as am sure we are yet to hear from a few people. They may have something to offer

it’s a bit odd turning down serial killer for fruit vendor all the same.

 

I don't get it tho, why role claim this early? You must have known it would have brought some pressure and if you are Town we've wasted some valuable time.

Like @Vertie says scum could say they received fruit to try and make you both seem like Town. It feels like a bit of an opening gambit.

 

To the contrary, we’re finally getting some traction on thoughts and ideas.

You won’t find a single instance of me picking scum over town, when I have the choice.

I don't think it's completely unthinkable that he'd chose a weak town role over a strong scum one. It doesn't sit comfortable with me that he chose to give fruit to someone that died but seems to make sense that we give him another night to try to verify his claims

Wouldn't be a good tactic really, since if minty eventually dies (in the night or otherwise) and flips as scum then the other person gets immediately lynched

 

My discard was mafia roleblocker so if minty was blocked last night it wasn’t scum that did it

 

Except you’re omitting that I have no way of knowing who’s going to die.

There's a possibility that minty could of been jailed, as a side note when hosting a game nobody should be told if their actions are successful or not unless a report is required (watcher etc.)
