Needs to go back to basics for me. Maybe believing his own hype a bit too much and trying to do too much on the ball. Coming out with the ball and then getting caught out of position a lot.

He is a lot better than what he has been showing. I feel that he has been letting Julien down a bit, who seems to be a lot more positionally assured.

He’s so vulnerable to a long ball into the channel.

I would have to consider dropping him and bringing in either Elhamed or Bitton.

Hes lost all composure completely. Poor decicion making that usually ends up with him on the ground. Bitton back in for a bit of composure atleast.

I actually like him coming out from the back like Van Dijk but his defending has been poor for awhile and with his big gangly frame he's always gonna be troubled by fast and/or physical strikers. Frankly he doesn't like it up him.

We need to just decide and tell him - is he a no nonsense * slide tackling and blootering the ball or is he a ball player who can set up moves? Cos he's defo not both in one.

Did we rush him back from injury too early?

He’s been poor for about 4 games now domestically

This isnt true. He had a sustained spell of form at centre back in which he probably had the most clean sheets in the squad from december 18-end of the season after returning from the broken cheek bone.

He did really well filling in at right back, but he done more than enough at centre back.
