I know Christie put it away but fairplay to Jamestown for popping up for us again and earning that penalty

"75 percent plus of people could stay on their feet for a penalty. If they get touched and go down then it's a case of it's OK to go down. I've been guilty of it, in the 1998 World Cup against Argentina, I was running flat out and got a nudge and went down. Could I have stayed up? Probably."

Could have had a hat-trick yesterday from the highlights, so unlucky. I would rest him on Wednesday though

This guy is just * terrific.

Easily one of our most important players, and easily a Celtic icon.

NL on James Forrest's upcoming biography 'Homegrown Hero': "He's been just superb. A big game player over a long period of time at a club with immense pressure. We feel like He's continually getting better all the time."

JF: The club came to me and I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I spoke to my family and they said it was a really good thing for me to do.

JF "Working on the book has been a really positive experience. This is my 10th season at a big club and talking about that and the last few years in particular has been great."

JF: 'It’s crazy my ten years have gone so quick. I enjoyed every moment, from the youth to the first team and I want to stay here as long as I can. I love every minute at #CelticFC and I will always work hard to be here."

JF: "I have played with a lot of players that have left and some players that have come back and they will all tell you #CelticFC is the best club they have been at. It’s been a pleasure for me.

JF on Neil Lennon: "When I was playing 19s he did loads for me and when he stepped up to the first team I was still young and he gave me my debut. Now he is back I want to keep replaying him for the faith he has always shown on me."

JF: "Right now I feel this team is really exciting. Apart from the Cluj game we have kicked on and shown our character. Hopefully there is a lot more to come."

Great post sums it all up.
Just listened to his interview today, no airs or graces spoke very well, doesn't need to hog the limelight. Looks certain to now see out his career at Celtic.
Stats wise alone he will go down as a great and so he should . Loads of ability , values the club and what it is, hope his testimonial is a sell out as its well deserved.

    Love him.

Arguably the least sycophantic club legend we’ve ever had. Does every single bit of his talking on the park.
