Letting Ireland run over us so they get over-confident and underestimate Japan. 4D chess tactics in action. :50:

We’re still a better team than Japan, it’s a similar set up to 2015 when we pumped them after they’d beat the Springboks.

They do have home advantage now right enough.

Won’t matter. They’re not getting out the group.

As above, with a single game played there’s far too many people plotting the outcome of the Group for Scotland.

There’s still a few twists and turns to come.

Scotland have also regressed and have been dreadful away from home for two decades. Japan have home advantage.

There are. Do you think Scotland will get out or the group?

I think so, too, and I hope Scotland do, I just don’t.

    Do you think they will?

I hope you're right. I was very impressed with them today..

As was mentioned in commentary early second half....they knew they were winning that game today you could see it in the japs faces..

Price and Watson now out of an already depleted squad..

Richie Gray that big beast presence then Blair Kinghorn and Huw Jones are massive misses with their pace and ball carrying. No doubt other's I've missed that should've been in..

I don't think.there is any doubt that Ireland would've beat Japan if say, the game was in France just as an example.

It will only take them so far as qaulity will shine through eventually and they won't be able to keep coming from behind to win, but the climate is effectively a 16th man for them right now as to me, it honestly looked like Ireland were hanging out their * severely in the second half.

I don't see how Scotland beat them in all honesty

Just watched the Wales - Australia highlight.

Cannot believe that Kerevi got pinged for 'leading with the arm'.

Patchell either MEANT to put his head into that contact area to try and dislodge the ball from Kerevi's grasp (a genuine tackling technique), or he plain *-up and put in a poor tackle.

Either way, it was all Patchell's own doing. Kerevi offered him a forearm sandwich (as he, and players like him always do when they're rampaging up the pitch with the ball) - it was up to Patchell to decide if he wanted to eat the * thing! Makes me wonder if Romain Poite has ever played the game? What the * are you supposed to do with your arms if you're running into a tackle with the ball?
