Well he took a fortnight of abuse off his own fans (some of it justified) for losing against Cluj.

All in all except for 1 "blip" Lennon is doing very well........he will be judged at seasons end, but the team is playing well and we have exciting players at all ages.....

I admit , I didn't want lenny and was disappointed when he got the job , I am delighted that he has booted me in the googlies and gave me a GIFRUY !. Well pleased , keep it up !!

 

You were not in my mind when posting that.

There is a world of difference between criticising the man and not wanting him to get the job and flat out abusing him verbally and questioning his personality/integrity.

All joking aside some absolute moon units really did go over the score. It's Lenny though, brings it on himself sometimes.

Brings it on himself... never encountered anyone who gets this thrown at them with such regularity and ease...

I pointed out a few mistakes I thought he'd made, and expressed a few doubts about retreading a past path, but also said folks response to him was mental, and reactions were beyond acceptable.

I was comfortable he'd get the 9, but not sure he'd bring any improvement... others were howling about showers and old friends and patsies... all out of order without justification. I'm glad he's proved me mistaken and them completely wrong!

On a personal note, there's no one, even Rodgers pre-rat, who would be bringing us the 9 and 10 rather than Lenny. His abysmal treatment on his first turn makes this so sweet!

Wasn't too sure on him coming back myself but so far he's done a pretty decent job. Shame about Cluj, still maintain that if Bolingoli started that game we would have went through. Apart from that he's done all that's been asked and got some decent signings through the door. If he can keep Ntcham performing well and get Rogic back to his best, we've got some great options.

Long way to go but so far so good.
