Showed he has a bit more about him than goals. Great awareness and very unselfish. Just win balls in the air most players don't get near. 1 proper delivery and he got on the end of it. Bodes well.

Have a hunch this will inevitably be the case as well..

Bayo is definitely number two at the moment and Afolabi is also knocking the door down for the first team squad and will continue to do so..

When Edouard goes, we'll lump on someone big as well....likely at the end of this season..

Griff is quality but still after all these year's...is still picking up calf injuries. Wouldn't be surprised if we loaned him out next summer at the latest..

Could be wrong on all of this of course..

When was the last time we had a different striker scoring a header in back to back game's?

Must be a long long time..

Edouard, bayo and Griffith's all very different players. Think afolabi is still a bit away in terms of rawness. There is no rush on afolabi at all. He has three quality strikers to learn from. If he took edoaurds control and composure, Griff's movement and finishing and bayos aerial ability and athletism he wouldn't be half bad

Griff is still very useful. Our dead balls are mince without him.

Probably not since we played two up top with either Skippy + Jan or Sutty/Hartson and Henke I would guess.

Hayes never had a bad set piece last night a few cracking balls one of which we scored from, then we've got Eddy who is more than capable in scoring free kicks as well.

Aye, I agree to a certain extent in that, "Griff will always be useful" :50: and although our dead balls were kinda' lacking without him playing... Our new recent signings(quality) have added that back into the team.

No doubt about it, Griff will have a big part to play in and throughout this and the coming seasons.
I'm glad that the fate of our results don't just fall back on Eddy and Griff's shoulders.

I'm also very happy to see Bayo starting to get his chance and taking it well.:celt_2:

I thought Hayes was good on delivery last night.

Agreed a refreshing change from the usually poor to at best inconsistent quality of delivery we get from set pieces usually.

I think he will bang in the goals for us, already showing his heading ability and goal scoring in other games.

Needs more minutes, obviously behind edoaurd but he can start some spl games and get 20/25 mins off bench more regularly where appropriate

Is that still zero goals for him?

really pleasing that he’s starting to really click in the team ... In fact the whole squad starting to ‘fire’ with new guys getting action and Rogic back, even Sinclair....
(Just need Griff back to pace)

it’s all credit to Lenny I suppose.... good (ish maybe CalMac doesn’t want a rest ) rotation of squad . Hopefully will keep all fresh and able to compete on 4 fronts...

hopefully a strong, fit injury free squad into and after the international break..

Really want this league cup in the bag and a decent lead at the top going into December.

Just might turn out to be a great Bayo.

    I'll see myself out...
