Got the fear on now but still hoping for a 2-0 win. C'mon the Bhoys.

    1-0..
Rennes are in some vein of form atm, so it will be a real statement of intent if we pull off a win.

Have to keep reminding myself this is an ‘early’ game...

Let’s get off to a flyer with all the points!

    1-2

    Thinking pragmatically, I'd start with:

    5-3-2 (with wing-backs)

    Forster

    Bauer (RWB)
    Elhamed
    Ajer
    Jullien
    Bolingoli (LWB)

    McGregor
    Brown
    Nctham

    Christie
    Edouard

    A draw would be excellent.

I'd be worried about us in the wide areas playing that formation. Both Bauer and Boli like bombing on and there's no wingers to cover in that situation.

    4-2-3-1 for me

    Forster
    Elhamed Ajer Julien Bolingoli
    Broony McGregor
    Forrest Christie Elyounouissi
    Edouard

Cannae see anything other than a comfortable win for Rennes, sadly.

    Rennes 1-3 Celtic.

Buzzing for this. Hoping we give a good account of ourselves and play the sort of football going forward that we're capable of.

Not sure we'll get a result as Rennes were very good in this tournament last season but a good performance to get us excited for the games to come will do me :ynwacelti
