    :56:Nah mate, I never got that on the chopper, I can mind putting beer mats in the spokes of an earlier bike though so it sounded like a motor bike when you pedalled

    I don't remember him doing anything like that. He was actually tiny for his age and turned into a big lankey drip :56:I remember every other week he needed new trousers cause he wore holes in the knees! Seemed like he was always getting something :97:

    I just realized it wasn't a Grifter my brother had it was a Tomahawk :56: I looked at the picture and thought hang on I don't actually remember that :52: Being a girl the Tomahawk was easier

    I stayed directly across the road from Paradise, and I remember all the mums bringing down ice poles and ice cubes for all the children playing in the street. It seemed every family had at least 3/4 children so the street was full of us playing Kerby; Kick the Can; Kiss Catch Torture etc. We all had bikes and I played football, everyday, sometimes all day. Where I stay now there's hardly any children out playing. They don't know what they're missing

    on the nostalgia thing , 2 things I never got that rankles a wee bit now and again ,

    I have never in my life owned a bike , loans never took the place of having my own .
    Wrangler denim jacket , I coveted them since the first day I ever saw one .. never got one .

    As im growing old disgracefully if ever an aul bassa cycles by you on a chopper bike with a wrangler jacket on , just mibby ..
