By pure good fortune I am going to be in Edinburgh on April 21, so I am going to be able to watch the Bhoys in person for the first time. Since I am not a STH I can't purchase tickets with the travelling supporters, so I was thinking of purchasing tickets at the south end of easter road's lower west stand, the section immediately next to the away fans. I was just wondering if anyone here has experience purchasing tickets in this area, and what the possibility would be of me being able to sneak into the away end to stand with the travelling fans.

If this question is inappropriate for this forum please forgive me.

You'll probably be able to buy a ticket in the home end but virtually no chance you'd be able to get from their end into the away section without trying to gain entry using a home end ticket to get in via the away end. There are security checks though and all down to luck if able to get in that way. Tickets are scanned on entry and not sure if it bars entry using a home end one.

If going into the home end anyway then don't wear colours. If celebrating or even cheering at the wrong moment you'd also run the risk of being attacked, ejected or arrested.

Always the chance of spares on the day but from experience very rarely do you see them offered now.

Last time you needed to have a previous purchase history with Hibs to buy home end tickets
