cant be sitting off of these european teams hopefully we get stuck in right from the start and play with a good tempo, left mcgregor out as hes lacking a bit of physical strength and theres something off with him

Only seen Rennes a couple of times but they look tidy and have had a good league start. Ever hopeful I'll go 2-0 the Bhoys.

It’s not the wee wanks on the Internet I’m worried about, I want to keep the poisonous * away from Celtic Park.

It definitely won’t, Lenny’s always been his own man. Just something that’s irritating.

What do our French Bhoys think of this game?
Are Rennes in a bad spot at the moment? Can Celtic take the 3 points?

the talk of winning in here, what Team have you’s been watching in Europe the last two year?

That said, go out and give them a * nose at least and I’ll be happy, this is Lennon’s gimme year.

This is already the most important match of the group , at least a point here required, as we are definitely in a fight with them for 2nd.

A point would be huge on Thursday, they’re not 2nd in the French league by chance.

Second in the league maybe, but they have only managed to find the net 6 times in 5 games.

Confident we can get the 1 or 3 points out there, though it won't be easy.

    predicting 1-2.

Mbaye Niang’s out as well, top scorer with 2 goals. Exact type of player I’d hate us playing against as well.

I'd be happy with a point from this one. I suspect they are going to be a step up from anything we have faced so far this season, so a draw away would be a good result I feel.

    Think this will be tough.

I'm increasingly encouraged by our defence though so hopefully we can do the job, don't think we will have much of the ball so we will need to be solid.

We just need to stop conceding European goals from simple balls into the box, think back to how many goals we've conceded that way the past few seasons, it's frightening.

Immaterial really, they’re playing Monaco, Marseille, Lyon and PSG whilst we’re away to the likes of Hamilton.

They’ve made the 2nd best start in a tough and increasingly tougher league full of talent from top to bottom.

They’re favourites and rightly so, coming away with a point would be massive in the context of the Group and being away from home.

It also includes failing to score against the likes of Brest. They’re favourite’s, especially away from home, but it’s not an impossible task.

    Let's compare.

    Rennes French Eddies: 0
    Celtic French Eddies: 1

    We have this.

Score draw I'd say, watched them against arsenal last season and their wingers were frightening.

Agree mate being second after 5 games can be down to luck, this time last year Hearts were Top of our league with maximum points after 5 games, were lucky to get into Top 6 and are sitting bottom at present
