Reminded me I had swan pics from down the golf course. First one was an evening in March, then the cygnets in June :50:

I was at a wedding in Bathgate yesterday. It seemed that the wedding was in the middle of nowhere, among a lot of farms and fields. When my family and I arrived, my daughter and I instantly said there'd be good birding opportunities. In fact, the actual ceremony was getting in the way of a good birdwatching session. Instantly we saw Buzzards, Kestrels. Sparrowhawks, Carrion Crows, and a superb sighting of 2 Ravens groundfeeding. Later on, on the small reservior next to the venue, we saw Little Grebes, Herons, Mute Swans, lots of Swallows and Housemartins, Herring Gulls and a few Coots and Moorhens. The wedding was not too bad btw.

Set out on my walk today determined to get a crow picture for BFL. Instead, it was butterfly fest. Look away BFL.

During the walk this wee fella kept singing and near the end he flew down onto a rock in front of us and gave us a private performance... Robin_Omeath.JPG
