Would our reserve reserve team be second best team in Scotland?

Yup the * had 3 squads apparently, 1 for the league 1 for the cups and 1 for Europe. Look how that turned out, let’s just bother about our first team doing what it has been winning trophies.

 

What about an under 21 team, anyone before after 1 January 1997 I think is the UEFA rules.

Aye that was the dead huns patter back in the 90's, bunch of loud mouth * always have been. We don't do that arrogant *

 

In fact, if anything,I am looking at our squad list and it is extremely bloated. We didn't get rid of Hendry, Miller, and many others. Wikipedia lists 34 first team players plus the likes of Henderson, Okoflex, Dembele, who should be getting game time too. That we could mount three, four different teams is not exactly good news.

 

Exactly mate. It's crazy what one win can do as well.
It's erratic as *, from Lennon needs to get to *, to we have a squad of 3 teams etc.
Hopefully everyone will.back him now.
But one draw and it will be a disaster again.

There's some poor sides in our league so I think we'd make 4th or 5th

 

middle to front they look ok and i think hendry could come good yet needs to toughen up though, dont really know much about frimpong oconnor miller, get the feeling opponents would just constantly bombard the defence with high balls

First off what's your problem

Second off it's international week and most of us are bored with it.

Third it's deffo not a hun thread. Because if their third team is second best in the country then it's better than their first team because that's clearly the position they currently hold.

And last off that middle to front is better than anything in the league bar us and the Huns, that includes Aberdeen and the diets etc.

 

First off it’s not even our reserve team..

Second the first team are only 3pts ahead with 4 games played, it comes across as arrogant and that’s why I said Hunlike.. the early signs are good for the team, but let’s not get carried away. Complacency is our only enemy.. Nothing is won yet.

Thirdly, I’ll give that, the international break always produces pointless threads..

 

To be fair I did say reserve reserve team. As in our third team.

It was more a tongue in cheek question would they be second best in the league. I was poking fun at the Huns

But I was surprised ppl felt that if you removed our first 22. We wouldn't have a team that would be top 6 in the league.

I feel our squad is quite strong at the moment. Bar potentially centre back.

We have 3 goalkeepers that should be good enough for top 6 in Scotland and 3 strikers good enough to play in top 6.

I've real hopes for this boy oconnor. By all accounts highly rated at OT and some eyebrows raised that we could prize him away

I think our second best 11 would beat our best 11 and win the league ahead of us.

What you more seriously could ask is.

What members of our second best 11 would not be first choice for any of the other teams. Thats probably a better way to try and think of it

Would Griffiths be first choice at every other team??? Yes

Would Hayes??? Probably

Would Sinclair? Yes

Would Rogic? Yes

And so on

 

Our kid's get smashed in the Scottish challenge cup thingy every season by part timers....so I doubt it..
