    nah your right hes better at it than calum but the only midfielder who shows that he can use his upper body strength regularly in european games is brown and thats just not enough they have got to get better in defensive area of their game if the want to continue to play in center midfield imo ofcourse ;)

    anyway we were excellent going forward probably should have had a few more, and thank * for shooders, what a key player he is for us always scores ridiculously important goals for us, a real hero

    Despite some ropey defending at times, we didn't concede bar a harsh penalty (Arséne Wenger voice: I didn't see the incident properly, so I can't comment). Looked menacing every time we were in their box. Eddy's cross for the first goal was sublime (Eddy MotM for me). Just a really good away performance! :shamrock:

    The team has had a lot of stick but the vast majority of performances this season have been way better than last under Rodgers or Lenny. Cluj was an absolute sickner but 4-1 away to the champions of Sweden is a fantastic result

    Obviously the injuries were disappointing, but 4-1 away to the Swedish champs with a pretty depleted squad is well good and deserves praise!

    I can see where your coming from a wee bit. First half I thought we gave them far too much room in the midfield and forrest and Johnston were guilty of not tracking back with their men leaving our full backs exposed. Much better 2nd half. Certainly wasn't * though.

    You can see from his reaction how much that goal meant to Julian. He has started to look much better in the past few games and hopefully getting that goal now will really help him kick on.

    To go away from home to the champions of Sweden and win 4-1 and 6-1 over the 2 legs that is just brilliant stuff. It is still early going in the season yet but once again some of our attacking play last night was just superb and you feel there is more to come from us as an attacking force. The backline is still an issue but hopefully we are starting to get that sorted now with much improved performances from Julian in the past few games and Bolingoli has improved as well. If Forster shows anything like his best form in goal that will be massive not just in terms of goalkeeping but in terms of the confidence it can give to the back 4 in front of him. Will be interesting to see who starts in goal Sunday personally it would be Forster for me.
