The football championship is dead unfortunately until the financial doping of Dublin stops by the Grab All Association. The Hurling is entertaining, more of an even playing field.

Between 2010 -2014, GAA development funding per registered player in each county: Kerry €19, Tyrone €21....Dublin €275

GAA have created a monster. It's a little bit of an uneven playing field when you have to work out how to beat a professional team in an * sport.

Dublin has the most players, most clubs, most schools, most colleges, most county players playing club football, most scope for development etc etc.. it's kinda obvious to point that out so I wont:86:

I'd also hazard a guess the vast majority of sponsorship money the GAA get is from Dublin, gate receipts, fees etc.. GAA is a business and I'm sure it makes sense to keep the Dublin cash cow well fed. No its probably not fare but that's life.

I do agree they have created a monster with this squad of players and the GAA is run in Dublin more efficiently than most professional sporting organisations around the world. This Dublin team is a phenomenon but it will come to an end like the kilkenny team in hurling.

Realistically every year there are five teams that can win it. Dublin, Kerry, Mayo, Tyrone and maybe another Ulster team that's on form.

The simple fact of the matter nowadays too is the more professional the GAA gets Dublin will always have a massive massive unprecedented advantage with the pool of players they have to choose from.

They should have pushed on when they were 1 up. Instead of hand-passing it around the defence.

Another couple of million on top of what they earned today for the GAA after the replay... taxi men, bars, fast food outlets, nightclubs in Dublin made a fortune...lads who played in the final today got 0... * all , Nada....zilch... for what was a sporting spectacle...

Is it time county players got a Percentage?..or at least compensated for their efforts..
