If that is the case, which I doubt, Lennon should have the balls to pick his own squad.

 

Lennon's bosses may have said don't play him. Make him feel like he wants away. I would like that job too mate, doing nothing is my expetise.

 

He can't though on this subject or any. The board have him by the balls as he is lucky to have a job back with us. He would not fight much for anything against the board, I don't think.

I think back when Balde was at us earning a fortune, the board demanded he be frozen out. That's why he ended up playing with the reserves and that. That was Strachan too who was doing what he was told. The only reason I had against the manager being Lennon was this position he will find himself in with just about everything that comes up, he will be powerless to change or fight for anything.

Gifted a brace. His team were battered. Our defence was a disgrace and I didn't think he was up to much..

Watched him away in Israel and thought the same. Then watched him at home to Prague and he missed a penalty and was * poor..

I think it's pretty clear that the decision to extend Sinclair's contract wasn't Lennon's.

After playing the first 4 games when he came in he then found his game-time limited, then was given the captain's armband in the final home league game v Hearts in recognition of his service to the club.

We've gambled that someone was going to come in for him and we'd make a few million £ out of it and it's backfired spectacularly. We're now stuck with a player on £35k per week who isn't contributing anything, the manager doesn't fancy and we're * off a guy who despite his drop in performance levels, has been a good servant to us.

The whole situation stinks and is another example of why we need a DOF in charge of the footballing operations.

We should not be looking at any players from that Cluj side.

Not a single one of them were even half decent, let alone stand out. We were just pish.

We’ve all spent about a year calling for Sinclair to be dropped and complaining when he plays. Why does he not need to earn his place in the team, while others do?
