    One fact that's always been overlooked is despite all the zombies hatred and persecution complex about the SFA they should in fact be grateful that once again they received preferential treatment in the respect that the new club were given a place straight back into the League set up and not have to start from scratch at the bottom tier of the non league pyramid such is the case and protocol in England.

    Wimbledon, Maidstone United and Rushden and Diamonds being the cases in point and clearly newly formed Bolton or Bury will have to do the same

    Just a thought.

    Are any of these soon to be unemployed Bolton/Bury players worth signing?

    Might be good for business but it won't be for our identity.

    Why? We’re a Scottish club with Irish roots, * all English about us and it should be staying that way.

    What would then happen, if Scotland was to become an independent country, while Celtic play in the English league system? Would we become a solely English team? A Scottish/Irish team playing in a foreign country?

    * off.

    Not to mention the second we moved to the English leagues, our 131 year old identity would be gone in an instant.

    Not many English * sympathise with the republican struggle to be honest.

    You * off ya clown it's a valid opinion that few others have Scottish football strangles celtic the club Is too big for it.... And as far as Scottish independence goes last time I looked we are still in the union... As much as a wanted independence... Canadian clubs play in mls because it suits them... Welsh clubs play in English leagues because it suits them

    * I support celtic because of the Irish and Scottish heritage admit I am partial to the odd rebel song.... But tbh couldn't give a * about republicanism when it comes to me wanting my club to be the biggest and best it can be... Because quite frankly times have moved on and should have nothing to do with celtic would I like to see a united Ireland definently but celtic playing in England or even Scotland for that matter isn't going to bring that about

    Interesting quotes on EPL : "The real issue is most football clubs at the lower levels are paying too much for the players. What is remarkable is that this doesn't happen more often.

    "In the end if you're paying so much to buy players or for their wages and you're not getting that sort of money in, it's not a business at all is it?

    "Whether the Football League has got the nerve to bring in wage caps and all those sorts of things will be interesting."

    English league outwith Premiership / top half of Championship is a huge bubble waiting to pop!
