I’ve wore every type of boot in 5s and 7s indoor and out door on artificial turf and have never had blisters. I think you may have odd shaped feet or just wide feet which is quite common. I’ve a bad corn on one foot which can cause a fair bit of pain due it being wider than the other. That could be your problem.
Anyway the copa mundials have very soft leather, great for comfort and feel. Also the only boot I’ve ever bought that went up a fair bit in price lol

How dare you call me odd

Played for years and never had them. Then I played 2 games in a row and disaster struck.

Just looking for the best way to avoid it happening again! I’ll try the vaseline suggestion first and, if that fails, maybe get new boots as my current ones are still okay.

With regards to running shoes, that’s a completely different issue - just cheap * ones from sports direct that burn like *!

I used to get blisters with football boots. Switched to a pair of "womens" boots and they fit like a dream and no more sore feet.

My feet are quite slim so I used to get too much movement in my boots before. The size down was just too cramped.

Nike store will check your gait. It’s worth doing and isn’t expensive, other than the cost of the trainer.
