He was absolutely fine last night. Get off the Bhoys back and let him settle in. All the OTT angst ain't doing him... or us... any favours!

He plays much better when he keeps it simple. You can see McGregor trying to stay close to him and coach him through the game, offering him the simple pass and directing his movement.

His major issues right now are he’s trying to be over ambitious going forward which result in losing possession in really bad positions.

The other is when he’s rash defensively. It should be possible to teach him to defend better with simple drills. His rugby tackle was a good example, he should’ve used his pace and forced the guy to the line, he was going no where but instead he panicked and took a needless booking.

He also seems to throw a tackle in and get skinned rather than shepherd the player wide or buy time for others to get in position. He’s got the tools but needs intense coaching over the next month or two.

He clearly doesn't even know the position or the timing of a full backs run. So many times I noticed McGregor, Christie, Edouard gesturing at him to get further up the back so the could play him in and only moved on being told to do so. This isn't hyperbole from me, he's one of the WORST players I've ever seen in Celtic shirt. Are people really that blind or are they willing to accept that standard of player?

I can't believe some people are saying he played well last night they must have watched a different game! Its not being negative or an overreaction or failing to support the team when you just have to say he will just never be good enough and its very obvious. His second touch is a tackle, he cant pass the ball, has no positional sense and cant defend, other than that I suppose hes ok...

Aye mate looks it going by what their Manager and Sporting Director are saying.

Kuhbauer said: "We worked so hard last season on a 3-5-2 system, but the loss of Boli Bolingoli has hurt us terribly.

"He would have raced up the left wing like a rocket in this system. He's a massive loss.

"And he is proving to be incredibly difficult to replace. Any time we want to look at a player, it seems his value goes up by hundreds of thousands because the selling club knows we have money."

Well said. I thought there was at least 3 Celtic players who were worse than him last night or at least on a par. Would of had an assist only for Mikey was unlucky.

Why are you even arguing with me? Are you going to tell me he's been good or that he is good?

This isn’t an argument, you’ve formed an opinion on a player and have a clear refusal to budge on it despite improvements in his performance.

I can’t ever remember a player being so micro analysed. In fact I take that back, it smacks of Henri Camara trying to replace the King.

The guy is on a hiding to nothing unless * get off his back.

Why are you looking for negatives and seeing who’s worse than who? That’s what our opponents do.

Nah mate , everything he’s doing is being totally magnified, had 1 or 2 stray passes not anymore than brown or most other players
    Also assisted for Forrest goal

It’s like these so called Celtic fans that phone the phone in, almost willing Lennon to fail so they can phone in and say

“ a told you Lennon was a bad appointment “

Fans like that can * off
