You may very well be right. I guess we will find out come September 3 if Sinclair still is a Celtic player at that point. Would be a shame for his time at Celtic to end on a sour note given the excellent service and all the goals he has scored for us during the past 3 years.

If they wanted rid they could have let him go. Put yourself in his shoes. They want rid but took up his extra year to make cash on him, after doing so good for 3 years, your told as much. Not very motivational. He now personally looses out on a good free agent signing on fee aswel for a team that doesnt want him. I'd say * no aswel and dig my we derk borigter heels in.

Then they force boyatta to stay and reject £9m. The last year has been a complete * up.

Realistically, we're stuck with him, unless a MLS team comes in..

Can't see him moving to Europe.

I don’t know how he is not on the bench and that * Morgan is?

What the actual * has he got on Lennon to get on the bench and the amount of game time as well?

Either he wants away or isn't putting in the effort in training (which amounts to the same thing).

No idea why he cannot get on the bench at least. He's 10 times the player morgan is I think.

The disrespect being shown to him is off the scale.

Has he been off form, sure, has he still been one of top scorers, sure. You don't just bin 17 goals a season the way we are doing eith Sinclair

Need to disagree to a certain extent when people say he has not been playing well etc sorry for any offence caused to anyone but particularly last season in my opinion I thought it was over the top criticism at times. Sure he wasn’t as good as his first season but he pretty much mopped up every award in his first season, it be difficult for any player to come back after the slammer and have similar highs.

He scored 17? Goals last season ? Someone correct me I’m I’m wrong in that stat please however I think it’s unfair on him with the negativity some people have shown towards him and his ability .

Sure he isn’t the Scott Sinclair of the first season but give me a goal scoring midfielder any day and id have him in my Celtic team.

Why did we extend his contract by a year if he's not even going to be making the bench? Are we really that tight that we hoped someone would come and give us a fee for him? Because that's what it looks like.

Not his biggest fan but his contribution to the team since he arrived has been invaluable, having a guy who doesn't perform great but still manages 15+ goals from the wing every season.

Thing is as well it’s not as if we’re not missing him because we are. He’d already have a few goals and assists under his belt with even just some game time.

    Nuts.

Aye shes a cracker to look at, a cracking body to *, probably a bit filthy too... aw *. Lucky *.

Edit. Being serious I think he knocked back another team who would pay money for him, so the boards told Lennon to not play him as punishment/force him out.

What's the chances a journo might actually ask "what's the story with Sinclair?" in a press conference, or had that already happened?

Is he in line for some big bonus or something? Appearances, goals, wins, loyalty? It’s happened before in football where the player is frozen out. With the English window shut, there is no chance he’s leaving before January. The situation is just very strange.

Either play him or sell him, can’t afford to keep a guy on £35K in the reserves. Morgan works harder which is why Lennon prefers him but he hasn’t shown much of a goal threat yet.
