So there’s this little rabbit that pops out when I park my car at work
    [IMG]
    That was Thursday

Then it came out and sat under my car when I had to grab something at work on Sunday, and again the little critter appeared as I was leaving on Monday, lovely little thing.

Anyone know how many broods goldfinches raise? There's a new bunch of young ones fluttering their wings on the feeders. Don't seem to know how to use the feeders, just flutter their wings on the frame until the bigger ones feed them. They are the only birds with a new wave of youngsters.

First visit back to Glasgow recently and took a walk down by the Clyde...

This was just taking it easy and was still there 3 hours later when I passed in the other direction.

Spotted this little rabbit at the edge of the woods today. Hopped around for ages.

Inspired by your blue * photos, I dug out an old digital camera. Used the zoom to take a couple of test photos of the bird bath nearest the house. They turned out well...until the male blackbird which lives in the garden hopped in looking right at me. By the time, I actually pressed camera he'd gone so I have another great picture of an empty bird bath! Maybe stick with the phone.

Thanks! Just wondered because of the new activity around the feeders.

Not a patch on Johniebhoy's photos but took these this morning out the kitchen window while doing dishes. They show some of the activity around the bird baths and feeders. CM-Bluetit-L.JPG CM-GoldfinchChicks-L.JPG CM-Goldfinch-L.jpg CM-Pigeon-L.JPG

This morning 4 Turnstone showed really well on my local beach 2 of them still largely in summer plumage, lovely birds.
Also 4 Whimbrel called as they flew overhead.
Yesterday in the local Woodland glades a smart red Male Common Darter Dragonfly showed well as did a Southern Hawker Dragonfly.

Thanks, Johniebhoy. I'm happy enough with them though they are not nearly as good as most of the other pictures on this thread. I just like watching all the activity, especially when the young birds are about.

Unfortunately, I can't claim these ones. Our youngest saw them this morning in Copenhagen and asked me to post the picture on the forum "to see what the bhoys think".
