Bu Rogic was our player, this guys on a 2 year loan and missed the whole of 1 year and now missing the 2nd, surely City are paying 100% of his wage while he's out?

Since the Arzani thread started there has been 1,034 pages over two separate threads about a bunch of players who have never played any mins of football for us

This is silly, if it wasn't for Lennon and his staff showing interest in him at the Nike Academy he wouldn't have been invited out to Marbella to trial with us. Loaned him out in his first season to get more first team experience as we already had decent midfielders at the time and it did him no harm to get more game time under his belt considering he had only played around 20 professional games prior to his arrival here.

On anther note people are dreaming if you think City are paying Arzanis wages, will be a decent player if he gets the chance but I don't think Neil is a fan of developing other clubs players. Jeez I'm defending Lennon a lot on this post, not sure what's going on :43:

We loaned him out because he was just back from a horrific injury and needed games in his legs

So often I read lamentations on these boards about the lack of X Factor players - players who can always beat the first defender and get in behind. Arzani's your man - can hit a wicked cross also.

This guy has been fully training since April according to his Instagram account videos.

And he's been available to play for the side since the start of pre-season.

    His position? Left winger.

The guy who keeps getting game time: Morgan

    Hes no * fit yet.
Years of us playing our players half recovered and still injured doesn't mean City will let us with theirs.

After our negligence with paddys injury in his 2nd spell it only heightens it.

Mental how many players aren’t getting a chance just now, a long season yet Morgan has already played majority of games and not done anything in the games to show he makes a difference. Try Shved and Arzani on the left.

Daniel Arzani has been cleared by famed Spanish orthopedic surgeon Ramon Cugat to return to action for Celtic, less than 10 months after undergoing ACL surgery in Barcelona.

Australia’s most effervescent young talent is already back in partial contact training with the Hoops.

And he flew to Catalonia during the week for a final assessment on his recovery from the doctor hand-picked by Pep Guardiola to regenerate his injured knee.

Having received a glowing pass mark by Cugat, Arzani - who sustained the injury on debut for the Bhoys last October - is expected to be handed several re-acclimatization games with Celtic’s Under-23’s before being promoted to the senior squad.

It’s understood he’s targeting a senior comeback by mid-September - if not sooner - with Celtic coach Neil Lennon keen to give the on-loan attacker the chance to shine.

If all goes according to plan, it’s possible Arzani, 20, could find a place on the Hoops bench for the SPL trip to Hamilton Academical on September 15.

In addition to his trek to Spain, Arzani has been back at parent club Manchester City where he excelled in several fitness assessments under the eye of the Etihad conditioning staff.

Whilst Socceroos coach Graham Arnold is itching to reintegrate Arzani into his World Cup calculations, September 11’s Qatar 2022 qualifier against Kuwait appears to have come too early.

However, he is likely to be available for October’s qualifier against Nepal in Canberra.
