Go and * yourself. Think you’ll find Livorno as much a accepting club as ourselves. The fans much like ourselves survive in a league and F.A. that look down on them with contempt and very little interest. That might be where the similarity ends as Celtic are these days a very much so profit driven business. Some clubs like Livorno will hop along with a limp like they always have. They have a support that know who their team are and definitely what they aren’t. This is where my opinion differs from people who demand us to have the ultimate goals of Celtic being the elite team starved of their deal in * who knows what? Would you really trade it for globalisation of our football team. We stay in Scotland and push against Lawell and the board before they do start taking their eyes off the prize even further and concentrate on the profits. Long winded but just sometimes your lack of class falls too far and the next time you hear “Livorno, Communist scum” just take a second and hear the words “* *.”

Apart from Scotland, not really but I do like a few teams.

I like Wolves but I'd still want them pumped in Europe.

Like Roma and Real Madrid, and Dortmund.

Aye, because us being targeted for our Irish, Roman Catholic background is the same as me calling out a bunch of idiots who claim to love an ideology that has murdered hundreds of millions of people.

Capitalism has given us slavery and two world wars, the Vietnam war, the War on Terror etc. It never gets the blame for any of it though.

More the point that philosophies and ideologies don’t kill people. Communism, as an ideology, never killed anybody. People who claimed to be communists killed people.

It isn’t an argument, it is a fact. Unless you are some sort of paranoid American religious conservative from the fifties. That does seem quite possible though.

Just saying that ideologies don’t kill anyone is lazy.

I also resent the accusation that I could ever be an American.

And saying that communism, as an ideology, killed anyone is even lazier.

You certainly strike me as quite American in your thinking.

I see myself as similar to Noam Chomsky so I’ll accept this as a compliment.

    Nah not really support.

My preference in Spain is Real Madrid because of Zidane and co when I was growing up. In England, no one really. The games can be entertaining but I've never really supported anyone. I love Bundesliga but I've never found myself drawn to one club, if it's between Dortmund and Bayern then I'd always lean toward Dortmund. Italy, I have some liking for AC Milan because of how good they used to be, like under Carlo with Kake, Pirlo, etc but then again I kinda like Inter in the same way too.

I don't know, fair enough if people support more than one club but it just never made much sense to me.

But Chomsky is incredibly in-American in his thinking!

I like Barca, almost entirely because of Lionel Messi.

Like is about the extent of it though, there’s no period of mourning if they’re beat.

I guess I'd have more of a fondness for a manager than a club to be honest. Like Guardiola I like to see him do well because I think he's such a brilliant manager (even with the luxury of having a significant amount of money available to him) and his teams are breathtaking to watch.
