NL: "We have to get over the disappointment, look forward to tomorrow and build from where we are. We’ve had a magnificent start, scoring a lot of goals and have been playing brilliant football."

NL: "I understand that people talk about the team selection. I don’t think that had any bearing on the game. We were rampant at 2-1 and then we gave Cluj oxygen in the game.

NL on Scott Bain: "He dislocated his thumb. He had a scan so hopefully we don’t think he needs surgery, getting a splint fitted, should be back training next week. Craig is ready to play and he’ll start tomorrow

NL: “We are working diligently in the background to bring players in and increase the quality, competition and strength in depth of the squad.”

NL: “These players go through a test of character every time they put on a Celtic shirt. The pressure is big, the expectation is big so tomorrow's the most important game because it’s the next one.”

NL on Dunfermline match: “There will be one or two changes coming in, there are players in form and sometimes when they’re in form they want to keep going and I understand that as well.”

NL: “Jozo is 50/50 for tomorrow, Mikey is a little bit fatigued but apart from that everyone is okay.”

Seems to be on the defensive a helluva lot and doesn't take criticism well..

    * poor that he's coming away with that and frankly embarrassing..

Aye the team selection had nothing to do with it :52:

What he should be doing is telling us he got it horribly wrong at time's midweek with personnel shunted about. Tactically wrong. Didn't change it when ahead and also got our subs wrong...plus leaving them too late..

Alarming if he thinks all that was wrong was giving them a bit of life once ahead..

I think if he held his hands up and admitted to his own tactical errors the support would "appreciate" it.....and give him some breathing space.. as it is these remarks just wind up a mostly * off support and eroding whats left of any goodwill to Lennon

Aye. If you admit you got it wrong we can still be annoyed but it'll pass and it's deffo easier to accept..

"I made a mistake. Won't be trying that again"..

Instead these excuses are rubbing me up the wrong way. I've no doubt many other's as well..

Nothing but complete and utter waffle.

Anything he could have said to avoid personal criticism, he did it.

Well after comments like that from NL we can now see why he got the job, a yes man indeed, all relating back to the shower scene, clearly, making descisions like he did esp with CalMac and both defenders benched and he thinks he called it right. He should NOT be in this job. sorry but that's just FACT.

Also downsizing again, how many times do we hear it, worse suffer it, here's a thought, downsize properly then and get that * Pistol Pete to *, he is the highest earner at the club after all, how much would we save right there and perhaps at last get the club sorted once and for all.

    Bullshit year upon *' year...

No sure about that as money is being spend although it’s debatable who it’s being spent on
More worried with the vision the club have at the moment and the direction they are heading does not seem to be any forward planning. Overall behind the scenes it’s a * and Lawwell seems to be getting way to involved in Transfers etc it could bit us in the * as we have seen 2 years in a row regarding Europe mate

To be honest, mate, it's still early. Apart from a very few exceptional people, in the aftermath of a * up, most people try to justify it to themselves. The worse the * up, the stronger the resistance. Rodgers was absolutely like that too.

The real test of whether he can learn from his mistakes is whether he repeats them. Let's be honest, brilliant coach though he was IMO, that was Ronny's big flaw as a manager. The same * thing again and again in Europe with the same outcome.

For me, this is Lenny's first * up at Celtic and I still have faith that he will learn from it. AIK will tell us more, however.

The most concerning thing in all that is the fact only one or two changes tomro. Forrest eduoard McGregor brown shouldn't even be in the squad
