An embarrassing performance from him tonight.

It's hard for some to accept, and love the guy but his days playing at the level he has are very limited now. Him and Nchamp cannot play together. We played our best football last season when he was out. He should be used sparingly now to give Cal Mac a rest in his role. Broony has given his all for this Club but would hate him to leave being a scapegoat for some if the season goes bad.

His best days are long behind him. He should not be an automatic first choice. It happens to all sports people. Father time catches up with u

It's time to make him a bit part player. His legs are gone. He's 34 now and he's achieved great things but he can't go on forever. McGregor is the man to take that position in the team now.

It is crazy writing him off again, we have been down this road too often, but what was said by many on here and has been proven correct is that he cannot play two games in quick succession now.

In saying that, that howler is indefensible. I know tiredness leads to mistakes and all that, but that is inexcusable.

Times up, he struggled at the weekend never mind tonight, he no longer has the legs to do what he’s best at and isn’t a smart enough player play a different style. If Lenny doesn’t drop him it could be a long season.

He's 34. Mugs like you will still be hitting out with this pish when he's in his 60's.

He got embarrassed against the huns last season. That was the warning.

Mate, you could see his performance tonight coming. That's not 20/20 hindsight, I was saying the same thing at the weekend and the weekend before against St Johnstone. So was McGuire.

*'s sake. How hard is it to know that a 34-year-old can't play the full 90 every * game? Especially in a schedule like we just had.

    That's not true.

You're optimistic. Any small chance of getting Wanyama on loan just died tonight.

He changed his style of play a couple of years ago. So he does have it in him.

It's crazy mate, I can understand him playing against St Johnstone on flag day in fairness but to play the full 90 and not rest him against Well is mental and tonight proved it.

We need to wisen up, as well as utilitie our squad depth. We've got a player in the making with Henderson just play the lad in competitive games, we've generally played good stuff with him in there. Need to trust these younger players and rest the old heads for the big occasion.

It's obvious he can't keep going to the well. Player's get past it. He's looking past it to me..

If Boli or someone held their arm up for the penalty when leading a European tie and in command...he'd never live it down..

That was a moment of madness from our most experienced player and captain, no idea what the * went through his head but it was utterly ridiculous.

Moment of utter stupidity which turned the game.

He was poor overall but that was unforgivable from your captain.

    What a *.

Hopefully the first and last time I have to call him that. Nothing else I can say.

The fact his "legs are done" or whatever thing you want to throw at him wasnt the reason for that pen. All the experience in the world and he comes out with that. Badly let us down.

The fact he is 34 is why he can’t play two games in four days.
He won’t last for ever, but younger players struggle with this. It is a serious misjudgment by Lennon, one that was compounded by leaving him on the pitch so long.
