Also like the way Lenny has spoken about Boli, he knows the guy is under pressure but has defended him, as supporters we're very quick to make judgements, but we've just paid 3 mil for this guy, gotta give him a chance, even if he ends up being back-up or played in another position.

Got us playing at a much higher tempo with more forward passes and good off the ball movement. Scoring goals for fun.

Shore up the defence and we will be excellent.

Early doors yet granted but it looks like his handling of Ntcham has been spot on.

The rat is praised for his coaching ability yet couldn't get Ntcham performing. By contrast some on here were saying Lennon's man management was poor and all he did was shout in players faces, yet he's got Ntcham looking hungry again.

Edouard has taken his game onto another level under Lennon too.

Don’t think Helsingborg would allow their manager to become out striking coach.

Big Hartson does it for Livingston part time!

Glad you brought this up as I thought exactly the same when you were commenting on Ntcham earlier.

Confirms what we said at the time. The likes of Ledley & Kelvin Wilson said he was brilliant at man management.

The snake is lauded for his treatment with player's yet couldn't get Ntcham right. Dembele slated him. Lustig slated him. Boyata couldn't stand him. He treated Griff like * in my opinion..

Funny that but Lenny is seen as some kinda managerial monster..

Rodgers is a * rat but to say he didn’t get the best out of Ntcham is laughable. He was superb his first season with us. Also, he’s played 2 good games this season, * sake.

The idea that even the best managers in the world don't lose their temper and shout at players is just ridiculous. MON undoubtedly learnt a lot from Clough and lenny obviosuly took a lot from MON. It doesn't mean he will be judged as highly as them or achieve as much in his managerial career. However to suggest he hasn't learnt a lot from these and developed a good man management strategy even in today's climate is just plain stupid.

Agree, it's just lazy and baseless supposition because how animated he is on the touchline.

Lots of players are on record saying he will have you walking out the dressing room 10 feet tall if you're doing the business but will let you know the score if you're not pulling your weight and that they knew what they were in for after a bad performance/result. Exactly the way it should be.

Especially as he seemed to grow in confidence during the game and got better as a result. Jeannie was calling it regarding his confidence in the match thread. Good to see Lenny do that.

No one is saying Rodgers couldn't get the best out of Ntcham; he's an incredible coach and definitely did get the best out of him for most of Ntcham's first season. What people are saying is that he demonstrably didn't get the best out of Ntcham for most of his time here. Several strands of evidence point to Rodgers not giving a * for around a year before he left, not coincidentally, he didn't get the best out of Ntcham in that period. The final 6 months he outed himself to the players as a bullshitter and * a few of them off, during this period, Ntcham was dire.

It's not that Rodgers couldn't get the best out of him and Lenny can; it's that Rodgers didn't and Lenny possibly is doing (early days yet).

Thing is, I don't see why he can't achieve as much as MON (OK, probably not Clough lol), we forget how young he is. He's only this summer turned the same age as MON was when he joined.

Neither do I Random. I was trying to dumb things down a bit so as not to tax some of the more reactionary members on here too much.

Great start but the real test is during the week and, hopefully, against Slavia Prague. The board really need to back him if we get past against Cluj. Hopefully with the funds he could put together another great side.

Not put a foot wrong so far. He will have his battles with the board, but he has an eye for a player so hopefully he gets backed.

Lennon has done everything expected of him and more since hes been back. Steadied the ship after BR left, won 2 trophies, back scoring goals and playing exciting football.
His arms are tied behind his back really, we have our 1st choice CB playing RB a CM playing CB due to the lack of options we have in the squad. Lennon has done his job so far, its now up to the board to give him the players he wants. They should have been in weeks ago ffs. Any failure this season will be down to the boards inability to part with money.
