    Remember seeing the video of the old slow camera's as it happened and it gives you chills..

    I remember my Grandpa saying he seen him play and he was an excellent keeper.
    He told me about a superb save he made. A shot was taken about 25 yrds out and the ball swerved in the air.
    John Thomson had started moving one way but turned in midair and saved it.
    Dont know if true but wouldnt surprise me.

    No mate, it was an event organised by the club, players attended etc.. Was a cabaret night with Celtic songs at the end.
