Got some patching up to do wi ma best pal at work though (Arsenal fan), our chat's become increasingly rancorous. I been calling them a diddy team who don't deserve Tierney for weeks now.

Indeed, what I don’t get is Lennon saying we need players in then backtracking.

It’s really worrying time when we sell our prize assets all the time and don’t replace them with real quality.

If Lennon isn’t given most of KT’s transfer fee to add what we need I really fear for this coming season.

But again you've skipped the small matter of his injuries and issue's that are curtailing his career. Just a small matter mind (lol) and only central to why I believe he's away this early..

 

This sums it up for me. I know it's just words but how can a 22 year old be a legend. There's a lot of our support just talk *. Don't actually get it.

The Lions are legends. Burns, McGrain, Bonner, McStay, Brown gave us there whole career are legends. Larsson could have played with any club in the world but chose to give us his peak years, he's a legend.

Beckham and Ronaldo we're sold because they wanted out. Tierney has never stated he wants out. I guess we will just have to make sure we reinvest and strengthen. Won't hold my breath though

 

Same , always stuttering around late in the window , I'd rather he went earlier tbh so we would be guaranteed new signings , if this never happened I dont think we would ser anymore imo

But the bulk must be spent to ensure CL group stages. Speculate to accumulate but we try the reverse most the time.

 

My point is the Epl come to us and underpay the same as we shop in less lucrative leagues to get players on the cheap. I don't like that they are underpaying us for players but it is something we try and exploit and should try and exploit more with less well off teams. All we can hope is that if players we sell continue to become successful then the fee we receive will continue to rise.

 

Arsenal are a Top epl side but haven’t been Top 4 for a few years now , don’t have the spending power of Man U, Man City, Chelsea or Liverpool and even spurs are pulling away so would be quite surprised if he sees champions league football in the near future

 

He's only just turned 22 and was only in the team for 4 years, he's no legend.

 

They've literally spent more than all those sides this window..

 

I love KT, I really do but he is not a * Celtic Legend. Not even close.

 

If the club you love accepts a bid as low as 25M these days you wouldn't feel valued. It's like you've outstayed your welcome somewhere and they want you out. Not the player's fault it's them up top
