Every footballer is for sale, doesn't matter who they are or what club it is.

Yip very true. But still that's just me, would want to make the club I love better. Honestly still wish him all the best, I know it'll probably tug at his heart strings to leave.

Could easily just turn around and say imagine turning down playing at Anfield, Old Trafford, Spurs new stadium to play at Rugby Park and the Toni Macaroni.

Does it really make sense for Celtic though? We sold Moussa for 20 mill last summer, if we qualify for the CL we'll get another 20-25 mill in a few weeks. We had absolutely no obligation to sell our greatest asset and could have waited another 1 or 2 years and perhaps even maximized his value even further, obviously dependent upon injuries, etc.

Said it before, but I’d say the wage increase isn’t even that big of a deal in all of this for KT.

It’ll be all about testing himself and wanting to become the best possible footballer he can.

Jeez the hysteria is frightening, some folk need to catch a grip!

Grown men acting like a bunch of hormonal 12 year old lassies after hearing their fav artist is leaving the band.

    Unfuckingbelievable!!!

I hope you woke up feeling less angry tomorrow.

    Night night x

I'd be to worried about regretting leaving when I was an old man looking back on my career to leave.

For those who are in love.....
    Loyalty blah blah blah..

Been here since what age, 8-10? 22 and played over 150 game's or so I'm sure. Won everything again and again and again domestically whilst captaining the side as well..

I never said I'd leave . I'm no KT off the back of a double hernia op with ongoing hip problems that have him in excruciating pain for the last year at least now because the club he loves has played him in to possibly early retirement..

All that whilst every diddy in the league takes digs at trying to finish. Him. "Celtic break off here against St Johnstone and it goes back to Tierney.....aw and Steven Maclean/Lafferty/Naismith/Bowman (etc etc) have wiped him out here"..

Given his all and more and never backed out. * and now getting us our biggest ever transfer fee as part of the natural rebuild but now enemy number one..

Best fan's in the world. Laughable..

Don't begrudge Tierney the move at all, but £25m is a steal for Arsenal.

Given, his injuries I think it makes sense..

But, aye the worry is the lack of investment we will make with funds.

I'd be in my Mansion with a cigar watching us via the internet from abroad probably having hardly been to about 20 games in the last 20 year :fear: thats where you have to say fair play to Rod Stewart, probably been going to 20 games a season for 20 odd year when he still works, has mostly lived about a 10-12 hour flight away and is old and rich as *.

This is the intrinsic motivation for a lot of top professionals/athletes.

Of course there are gold diggers and money talks, swears even, but for a lot of players their main incentive is to be the best player they can. The only way to get better is to play better opposition and with better players.
